Can consider to buy and hold till Jul 06 for dividual...The net asset value is now 24cents.. TTI is giving annual divident, last yr jul was $9/lot. better than many others.. |

Hee..Thanks Singaporegal.. But volume still rather low..waiting to see how it develops first.. agree with u possible volatile movement ahead due to narrowing bollinger.. But if i go in probably long n hold rather than swing trade..volume too low..dividend yield not too bad too at current price... :) |

Agree with you Novocaine.. Possible revival. If you look at its Bollinger, its undergoing a tight squeeze now - a sign that explosive price action is going to happen soon. Plus its RSI and A/D line are uptrending - implying potential uptrend movement. Might be a possible buy. |

Hi everyone.. Been following this seemingly neglected stock.. Fundamentals doesnt look too bad..Trading at a discount of around 52percent book value.. Even par value is higher than current price! But company is still profitable and their AKIRA brand is doing pretty well.. Been doing a bit of snooping ard at electrical stores..my fav pasttime..heh..n noticed more shelf space given to akira nowadays.. n they have roadshows too at malls occasionally..noticed one in junction8 just recently.. Product array not bad though of coz cant compare with major brands.. But they do have value for money..wic i tink is appealing more nowadays.. Been at a downtrend for quite a while.. N volumes r very pathetic.. But could it be a potential candidate for a revival? Esp with an improving economy n more money minded population who prefers pay less for about the same.. Company gearing more towards their baby which is akira..n economies of scale would be on their side esp with growing revenue from akira sales.. waiting for their fy results before deciding if worth investing.... Just my thots on this company..Anyone would like to share their thoughts?Thought i start the ball rolling since this company is not in the limelight..quite worthy of consideration in my view despite the spate of bad news flow last year..the worse is prob over for this company... :) |
