Hi lew You are right. Not everybody can see a cup or handle :)) But I saw a penant/flag in sunshine yesterday. Vested at 0.34, applying what Binni said on high volume. Just contra to sell today at all time high 0.365. :)) So happy. More than paid for the course fee. At least I can see the continuation patterns (kekeke) |

My friends told me they can easily see cups and handles, saucers and such like configurations on the charts and they can so easily point them out to me. Well. somehow, I can never get it. Maybe it requires a lot of exposure in the kitchen before one can readily discern such patterns. However, many have indeed made money good money after recognizing the patterns and acted accordingly. ---------------------------- |

Hi nomane: Not confirm yet whether to attend MACD. After the hectic novice course last weekend, still groggy over whether stocks are trending up or down. As Binni said, if you can see the cup, it is there. If you cannot see the cup, forget it. Not everybody can see cups and heads and shoulders. Cheers. |

On account of it's personalised nature I would without reservation recommend those who are presently trading 'blindly' and need someone to guide them to attend the training. ( IreneL: hope you will temporaily 'lay down your tools' and take some time off to attend). :) ---------------------- |

One experience that I want to share. I always thought that holding on stock long term is good after analyzing the FA. As Binni said, paper profit is not profit until that money is in your pocket. I drew trendlines on Celestial and once it broke the support line, I quickly sold my position at a small gain. If I didn't know how to sell my position, I would be crying when Celestial went to $1.53 (heng). One thing that I like about them also is they are very sincere. I asked if as a novice it will be fine for me to attend their macd program immediately after the novice course, they actually ask me to practice more first. lew, will you be attending their macd program in December? I think I will sharpen my "sword" first before going. |

Hi lg1167 & others who are interested to attend the TA course. Just log on to www.terraseeds.com I got this "khang tow" from ShareJunction postings. If two of you apply together, you get a discount. I repeat that I am not vested in the above company. Personally just feel that it is worth the money and want to be "kaypoh" and "poh khang tow". If you attend the course and apply the "kungfu" learnt and make real money, pls buy me a nice Japanese ($200.00) lunch. Cheerios. |

Hi folks: I believe nomane has replied most of your queries. Well, I believe $138.00 for the novice course of two sessions spread over two days totalling 8 hours will not immediately convert anyone to become a savvy trader and make a fortune trading equities. If it is so easy, the course will not cost that meagre sum. Of course you can also buy a few books costing 2/3 hundred dollars and study TA (TA books are quite expensive). But nothing beats attending a simple course especially with a trainer who is quite good at explaining the bolts and nuts. However, I feel that I absorbed quite a lot after the novice course conducted by Ms. Binni Ong and company. At least, I am more cautious now and look at the charts first before I jumped in. I also learnt to practice drawing trend lines, how to read trends with volume and quite a number of tricks of the trade. I have not made a lot of money yet. If I do I'll report again. Happy trading. |

Hi tonersweat I have attended Terraseeds novice course and have to say the course is great and the TA knowledge that I've gained is tremendous. I bought TA books (Martin Pring etc) but find it quite difficult to apply on my charts as I didn't know if the trendlines that I draw is the correct one, or if I get the trend correct etc. After Binni's course, I finally 'open up'. Their course is not like those SGX seminar style. They let you practice on the charts and the assistant trainers will go to you and explain individually. Very important, there are experiences which you can't learn from books and she will share as much about it. I think if you are able to read from books or website and understand TA, there are plenty of websites like stockcharts (http://stockcharts.com/education/) to teach you TA. For me, I tried to read but can't really understand. So the novice class is really very helpful because when I started drawing after she went through the theory, I was able to clarify what she said 'the weird weird situation'. I understand from my friend who attended much earlier, that the charts they discussed are different everytime, depending on what is interesting at the time you attended the course. Hi lewsh88, did Binni discuss Biotreat with your class? I was so tempted to buy when it went down to 80 plus cents, but after what Binni said, I finally understand what it meant by "Don't catch a falling knife" and run for your life. Now Biotreat is only 50 cents. (Heng) Guess that I will need lots of practice still. Will be attending their practice class when they announce the dates. I agree with lew that it is worth the money spent, at least, I 'saved' myself from lots of losses like Biotreat and Celestial. Comparing to the SGX seminar, their course is really great and encourage those who want to start on TA to join their novice class. I am not vested in Terraseeds too. |

Hi rogue_trader , I do agree with you they only teach the standard and basic chart for most of the course . It takes time and experience to spot the trend. Thank you for your information. |

Hi, Sharejunction do provide chart information . We do not have to use any tools to plot chart. The problem is I am not very good in spotting the information like buy, sell signal. By attending TA course, do you think it will really help or just reading the book ? |

Hi tonersweat, I learnt mine from books/articles from the internet/notes. These are good enough to spot those buy/sell signals. But pls take note that TA is only one of many indicators. I did not attend any course and I think those people giving these TA courses will only show those charts that are "standard & easy" (pls correct me if I wrong). If a particular counter lacks volume, no point these people will come and teach you its TA. To learn the basics is easy but spotting the trend takes times and experience and it is not always 100% accurate. |

Fully agreed with iPunter. I learnt TA from the internet, singaporegal and some books/notes handed to me by my remisers. But if the course is not that expensive, I think it worth a subscribe as some people tends to absord more in a classroom than self-study on books and papers. |

Hi, TA is the same whether you learn it from books or attend classroom lessons. The advantage of classroom lessons is that you may be given hands-on practical instruction on how to go about actually doing the charting and the tools (stationery or software). In my view, using the money to buy some solid good books for self-study is a better alternative, as the books are always with you and you can always discover new things everytime you check the books again. ------------- >>> Trade With Care |

Hi folks: I attended the TA course for novices conducted by Terraseeds.com last weekend and found it to be quite informative and helpful. SJ members who are not familiar with TA should attend. Its worth the money spent. They give a discount if two people register together. I am not vested in Terraseeds. |
