SINGAPORE ? Sembcorp Marine said today (Nov 5) its net profit for the third quarter of the year grew 12 per cent as revenue surged on strong demand for construction and repair of oil rigs. For the three months ended Sept 30, net profit rose to S$130 million from S$116 million in the previous corresponding period as revenue soared 86 per cent to S$1.7 billion. Its order book stood at S$13.5 billion at the end of September, up from S$12.7 billion at the close of the previous quarter. |
