the next " big one" may be CNA (just my guess only) cos notice their pattern of play looks a bit like Rowsley take sometime to " hand around at that range" (in fact quite long already considered its share base not so huge)....before it may surge if it surges, think more than 0.30 and stay there for a while . |

share placement in this case is : (1 ) injection of funds (2) show of confidence by investors . 80 mil new shares more than 10% of total share base. in this case, they value ems at (at least 0.042) |

Probably the size of the share placement is not big, or the proposed use of the funds is not attractive enough. |

theoretically, i think share placement should result in fall of price as it dilute shares.. but most of the time, usually counters went up with share placement 'cos of the news associated with the placement, such as the purpose of the raised capital, and who the investors are.. so, it is not always that price should go up in placement.. in fact it should fall theoretically.. imagine the purpose of share placement is to pay debts.. i dont think this kind of placement will cause price to increase lol.. maybe market wasnt sure of what ems going to do exactly & the potential of the the funding purpose..

It is a " Miracle" this share didnt shoot up ! Quote EMS Energy Limited announced that it has, on 29 August 2013, placed out S$3.36 million worth of new shares to institutional and high net-worth investors to fund working capital and build up higher-value offshore and marine engineering projects for its order book. 80 million shares were placed out at 4.2 Singapore cents each. Following the placement, its share capital base has increased to 740.4 million from 660.4 million currently. Among the placees, Asian Trust Investment Pte Ltd, an investment holding company, subscribed for 30 million shares, raising its total holding to 60 million, or 8.1% of the enlarged share capital, making it a substantial shareholder...
