With GSH receiving S$20 million from placements, I do believe that Popiah King is poised to buy more into Hanwell with the eventuality of take-over and privatization.   My guess is also based on business sense arising from the big opportunity provided by Hanwell to potential bidder who would not only have a good business but also profit from somewhere around $100 million if successfully take over and privatised. If directors do not want a bid and privatization by others, the only solution is to buy the shares up beyond its NAV. For players like us, we just watch the show coming, hehe.

I read that Mr. Popiah King few days ago bought another tranche in Hanwell increasing his holdings to slightly short of 15%. It will be beneficial for Mr. Goh to buy upto the mandatory percentage, and give an offer for takeover and eventually privatization.   There is big money to be made, and I think he needs to act fast if he want to grab Hanwell into his group, as delay would give others a chance to destroy whatever benefits a taking over may command or entail.

Sorry, not this counter.   It sells provision and not a preferred trade for bigtimers.   Hahahaha.

Now that Intraco stake is sold, things looks different.   I smell something cooking.   Acquisition or offer should be coming up.   Just watch. Never have the shares of Hanwell (prev PSC) been so firm.   Previously was so sickly but now looks like have some energy.   Should cheong very soon.   Enjoy the ride.   Lolol.

Towkay Oei really spoil the pot of soup for everyone. Thanks to his  shillyshallying Intraco will be sold at leilong prices. He has ruined the brideprice and she's now going for a lark because of his whims!  Towkay, act now or repent at leisure. |

Once the Intraco stake is cashed, we can expect company buy back to be more aggressive or someone insider or outsider might have an eye for taking control or buy over of the company for privatization.  This is a most logical and realistic conclusion because the NAV of Hanwell is now well above 50 cents per share.  Just buy for takeover or buy for the low traded price will make a good business deal since the price must move up matching the financials.

Original suitor did not fall out of love even though pretty Hanwell was seduced momentarily.  She will have to repent and accept a slightly " better" dowry than from the previous proposal's.  The offer from OHL was pulled back when it exceeded the date that he would not extend, and this was maybe because he probably felt not so nice inside him to " steal" someone's bride however much he loves her. Hahahahaha!

Why is Mr Oei playing  mind games with Hanwell? First he wants it, then he doesn't, now he doesn't want anyone else to get it. Hello boss, can give us a definitive answer or else let Hanwell marry her other keen  suitor?   |

Hanwell's Intraco stake is now back to square one. OHL's offer lapsed, but at least the scenario is different now.  Intraco has gone up in price and so Hanwell's books will look better right? The next big thing probably will be an offer attempt for Hanwell itself by OHL if he has some calculations up in his sleeves.    Think Hanwell can be worth more than 30 cents.

Hanwell, will be in a better position in the books with an offer of 70 cents for its stake in Intraco. So potential for going above 35 cents with even a better chance for a bid by BB to privatize.  Maybe equally possible like Intraco being offered by Mr. Oei HL. |

This stock has been under selling pressure for eons. Once upon a time, I was holding more than 300 lots, and now no more than 10 lots.  The counter is condemned for " don't know what reasons" , maybe waiting for us to sell everything first before moving. Hahaha.

Didn't you receive their latest annual report?  Last time I read was, around 48 cents (either group or company, I forgot).  But there is a discount for this counter since it is not an active counter.  Normally inactive counter gets a discount while the active one gets a premium over its NAV. I will short this at 40 cents should it go there, but its recent high was 37 cents, so I unable to short.   .

Anyone who takes over the company will definitely benefit from its goodwill, business, investments and cash hordes. However, to realize the gains, he must privatize the company and then sell any off assets that included impairments and depreciation yet have good values, I think. Nevertheless it is still worth much consideration if anyone is interested to pay 35 cents or more per share. |
