Fundamental might not get you the biggest gain but is the most reliable style. Basically you pick a counter as if you are running  the business yourselve. Profitable business model=> Confirm price will go up no matter what other say. Non profitable business=> matter of time it will fall no matter how high it goes, cos build on empty boxes only. The same is not true for Technical analysis. A counter can be loss making, yet whenever price line cross 200MA, people get bullish!!! Whenever price line fall below MA, people get bearish no matter how strong the company is (e.g. Keppel corp). Nevertheless there are really good chartists too but those are exception cases.  Nothing to say about speculation=> as good as betting in Casino=> > > zero sum game. Your gain come from other's losses. FA=> > > Your gain come from business growth,  not from others.    Thanks, will be back here in 2 years time to check on the price. Up till now still got people believe it will rise again, without knowing how it fall in the first place. From what I see, the original shortist has covered when it rebounced  and run  off  already, this stock is a goner. Got people still attacked me for sprounting rubbish =.= Golden Agri=> Rapid falling profit, CPO price held up by speculating  Haiyan's damages. Yet people expect  the rally to be sustainable.  As rationale  set in, people start to realise that  Indonesia  and Malaysia are the two big players not philippine- Haiyan damage to CPO stock is minimal.  Golden Agri start trending down already. Obvious case of BBs  trying to make use Haiyan as an excuse to push up the price.  Again people here think that I shorted GAR and tried to create fear =.=. Yoma=> From 90cents to 70+cents, still got people think will return to $1....People don't know what they are betting on. Everything and every success  in Myanmar hing on the decision of one person=> the current military president. Today he happy, he open up. Tomorrow he unhappy....etc. I know this is Yongnam forum and I did not post these here to show anything. I just want to emphasize the point FUNDAMENTAL!!! Cos wiseguy don't get it, he still think I talk down his stock. And he seeks 'revenge' on me in other threads =.=. Obviously, I am not perfect, my fundamental style does get me stuck in some counters too=> > e.g. Olam=> I inside 1 year already and I still holding cos I examined MW's report and find its evidence unconvincing. Only matter of time, Olam prove to be clear. IPCO=> Longed 3.3cents, now 2 cents only. Reason for falling is Blumont incident. I still hold cos, fundamental says TP  6cents ++ without Blumont. The only problem is with industry restructuring, once it is done  all construction counter will recover.  Main risk lies in whether Yongnam can keep its leadership position under the new game rules. As the restructing process goes on you can expect this counter to keep low. Marina one contract won't help the company to thrive, though it does provide some assurance in profit to stay afloat. One chance for this firm to thrive in next 2-3years=> Remember gov talks about  underground living space?  If Yongnam got that kind of contract theYES 40cents is guranteed. In fact I would buy at 60cents.  But up till now underground living space remain a concept, and it is really expensive to carry out. Thus best strategy for investors=> HOLD AND WAIT. Be patient- real investors have no problem waiting for as long as 5 years.So long as you think the fundamental is right, don't fear just hold. Ignore the trend, ignore the market.

But nevermind, you got 5-6 share junction accounts to play around and keep you entertained. Don't know your 23cents BE point is true or not. But I strongly and truly believe 23 won't hold. The order to fabricate and construct a record 30,000 tonnes of structural steelwork will lift group's order book to $397m. The contract consists of three packages which includes the conversion of the original reinforced concrete design of the office towers to a composite structural steel design, as well as the application of fire-proofing and supply & installation of a specialist floor damping system. Works for the subcontract is expected to be completed by 1Q16 and expected to have a positive impact to the group's current financial year onwards. The Marina One project is being developed by M+S Pte Ltd, a 60:40 JV between Khazanah Nasional Bhd and Temasek Holdings Pte. Ltd. The iconic project at the upcoming central business district located at Marina South will comprise two 30-storey office blocks, two 34-storey residential blocks and four basement levels. At 0.24, Yongnam trades at a steep 14.0x annualized 3Q13 P/E, compared to industry peer Tiong Seng's 7.8x.
