Ultrameg, since nothing can desuade you from making further postings on the various topic. May I suggest you just keep using ONE single thread than a new thread for each of the article you'd like to share with everyone. Give that a thread a title like Ultrameg's articles. Start each post with the title on a first line follows by the link (those interested could still find out what this new article is all about). Anyone who like to respond could just respond within that thread. This benefits everyone. On one hand, you could have all the collections in just one thread and for readers who are interested, they do not need to make a conscious effort to find the articles you posted. It will achieve the same effect as 'fellowhip of the shares' thread. Thanks. |

ultrameg, I think Sayadaw Dhammapiya in your link is a different person from the one at helium.com. The Sayadaw here is from the southern Buddhism of the Theraveda tradition which do not practice rituals such as ching ming. Whereas the one from helium seems to be a Purelander of the Northern Buddhism mainly in Tibet, China, Japan and Taiwan. Peace ps- the Sayadaw Dhammapiya is the correct one I mentioned earlier. |

I am not holy or religious, but just interested in the rich Eastern philosophies ? Tao and the Path of the Awakened One (Buddha).
BTW, I have come across the name Dhammapiya many years ago who authored several Buddhist books.

Left out one important point in the forwarded mail. There is a good agenda behind it. Hence, I just wish to help him/her to promote his/her articles. So far, I had promoted in a few forums, including this one (total 4). This forum have the highest viewership so far. I suspected the writer is a She. Any views? |

Hi, harryp. You are not the first one who had asked. I'm not Dhammapiya. I am serving in the forces, and had regularly surf the internet for investment ideas/news. Coincidentally, someone (repeated forwarded message) forwarded dhammapiya's articles to me. Ever since, I have read up his/her articles regularly. It seems that you are well-versed in religions, could you tell me more about this Pali name? Does it practise in Singapore? |

ultrameg, Are you Dhammapiya, the writer of all these articles? Just curious coz it is a Pali name normally given by the receptor to an ordained Buddhist disciple or monk. Peace |
