Sifu's jokes are really serious stuff...        People love to make things complicated,             on the assumption that the more complicated, the more credible.                       Why won't they simplify their lives by just just placing their bets?... ![]() |

Constructively, efficienly and smartly implementing the FA, TA, MCA, BSA and SSA are the main essential key issues to do the successful investment! MCA=Money Cost Averaging, BSA=Buy Strategy Analysis, SSA=Sell Strategy Analysis.

Trend determines if fundamentals, or any other considerations, are of importance.     In a downtrend, the uppermost consideration is when the stock will stop falling.           This no one can tell, since the market is a proven irrational entity.                 Of course, one can go on buying and buying, all the way till the bottom,                         which is exactly what any simple investor will naturally do.                               But  time is the ultimate determinant of success in such an approach.                                         The question is how many months will the trend (and thus the investor) last?... ![]()

People always say buy low sell high. When market is bad, buy those strong  company at low price. However, few mention how to buy at the lowest point. Is it possible to really buy at the lowest point? I doubt so, there is no foolproof way of detecting the " global minima" (Lowest price). So what are the thing you can do when market crash, so that you can buy the company at the low price? I would say, this is when fundamental analysis come into use. Using Fundamental analysis you can narrow your scope down to those company with strong fundamental and is selling at cheap price.
