Hi leepc88, I have not paid for any TA course before. I mostly read and learn from books. The only course I attended was by Larry Williams and it was a free preview. But in the 3 hour session, he shared some great insights. If you can afford it (a few $K !!), I think Larry Williams seminars are one of the best around. |

Hi tangyw, There're old threads under the Others .... look for What to Buy? or When to buy? ..... there're good discussions over TA and FA techniques there. Like what Nostradamus said, its good to go for courses. But you need to pick the right trading method for yourself. |

Oops, sorry. Should be simulation, not actual trading. |

Hi tangyw, Paper trading, as the name suggests, means that you trade only on paper. It's stimulation, not trading. It's for you to learn how to trade before you do the real thing. No actual money is made or lost. |

stimes it is worth to spend some $$ to attend tech classes. I am sure you can make back from the mkt. The rest is discipline when to pull the trigger and when to accept a loss by cutting your position. Nowadays big boys will make charts look so beautiful that one can get trap easily. |

Hi tangyw, Welcome to SJ! Its normal to be blur about TA even after attending a course. I suggest you buy a book for reading (try books by Larry Williams) and do some paper trading first before you start buying shares. BTW, which TA course you attend? |

Hi :), i'm a very newbie to this sharejunction and also very very new to stock and TA too. Firstly thanks for all info, but they do not actually show you how to plot the chart and explain to you when to enter and exit. Actually i have also attended one of the TA course, but still....i am very blur...& confused. Can anyones shown me where can i learn more from using TA. I really appreciate that very much. Many Thanks in Advance. ;) |
