Haha Hypotically speaking, do u think the anomalies such as those I highlighted in their cashflow below are a natural occuring phenomena? If u do not think so, then perhaps there is a chance it was designed for a purpose? And quite possibly in the plans for a while now? Just maybe? Only hypotically speaking of course. So if possibily that were the case, do U think that after all my " talk cock" below they'll back away from it? It's Possible. However, if it where me, I don't think I would pass up on a chance like this to not only dilute, but to also create a psychological price barrier. Like I said before, I m a scumbag. haha Keep your powder dry for now. If and when it does happen, wait for the rights to start trading. Generally speaking, if you look at past rights issue where u suspect insiders might be directly or indirectly loading up, there usually is an " invisible hand" that will press prices of the mother share down just before and during the rights trading period. If you don't believe me, just go back and look at the chart patterns of other companies that ve done the same. Now that, my friend, is a NATURAL OCCURING PHENOMENA! haha. Still, that said, this is a win win for both parties, but especially for the Tangs. I wouldn’t be too surprise that with a year we’ll see them monetizing on those prime retail assets.
But that said, I think it is time to move on…

No worries. cheers :) Soooo, if we factor out all the potential " sap" on cashflow mention below, i.e. trade receivables, trade payable & inventory, what would that do to net cash? $41.5m + $10.2m + $8.5m = $60.2m So do I think that will ever happen? Well, if I think what is gonna take place happens, then never lah. Are u kidding, $60.2m in net cash would absolutely look ugly for mgmt considering they only have a market capitalisation of $65.4m (233.55m shs outstanding x 28cents). |

No worries :) Now back to some more of my BS on inventory. Based on the below, average inventory turnover for the last 2 yrs (2010 - 2011) was 1.52 times. But 4 yrs prior, i.e. 2006 -2009, this was an average of 2.71 times. Let's say for argument sake, they manage to maintain the same lvl of historical inventory efficiency before 2010, i.e. 2.71 times, then how much inventory would they potentially need in half yr 2011? $29.9m (RM & consumables used) / 2.71 times = $11.05m. If that were the case, then they would need $8.5m less inventory then current lvls, i.e. $19.6m. Potentially Boosting cashflow by $8.5m. |

So what happen to their inventory management efficiency between half yr 2009 and 2010. From 2.55 times to 1.51 times? I don't know about you, but to me, it kinda looks like it just fell off a cliff. But I am pretty sure they ve a very good and valid explanation for that.... if not? er, then they probably scrambling to find one now. haha |
