Sunray is trying to get out of China and go towards international, it have participate in the Dubai health 2007 and will be participate in HOSPIMedica INDIA 2007 in March 2007, seems like more action to go international is expected. |

chances to pick up low low, as this is not the first time it issue the profit guidance, which in second quarter it already highlighted the issue of China hospital is using tendering to purchase the products instead of RFQ. But from the China growing market, you can still expect the medical instrutment to continue grow. |

PROFIT WARNING SUNRAY HOLDINGS LIMITED (Incorporated in Bermuda) Guidance for 3Q FY2007 The Board of Directors of Sunray Holdings Limited (?Sunray? or "The Group?) wishes to provide a guidance on the Group?s financial results for the third quarter (October to December 2006) of its financial year ending 31 March 2007 (?3Q FY2007?), following a preliminary assessment of its business operations. The operating environment in China?s medical equipment industry remained challenging during the last three months of 2006. The Group had previously disclosed that the Chinese government?s ongoing anti-corruption campaign may affect the sales of medical equipment. In an effort to improve the quality of regulation of China?s medical services sector, the authorities have also introduced policies to regulate the fees of medical services and stepped up their inspections of hospitals. These measures have resulted in delays and/or reduction in orders of medical equipment procurement, increasing shift to the tender system, and may also impact hospitals? budgets and plans related to medical equipment purchases. Against this industry backdrop, the Group expects to report lower sales and net profit for 3Q FY2007, compared to the corresponding period in FY2006. Based on a preliminary assessment, for 3Q FY2007, Group revenue is estimated to have declined between 22% to 27%, while Group net profit is expected to have decreased between 42% to 47%, compared to 3Q FY2006. For the nine months ended 31 December 2006 (?9Mo FY07?), Group revenue is expected to decline between 5% to 8%, and Group net profit to fall by 16% to 19%, compared to 9Mo FY06 |
