UOL is offering Hotel Negara $ 6.45 per share.How much per share it can offer for Singapore Land?. No wonder Wee CY keep picking up UIC which is undervalue. |

The price will only stay at $1.45 if Wee CY keep buying during this period of downturn. Beware the share price tumble when the buying stop. |

the price you see now should have already "factored" in the purchase info. The volume in the last week isn't very inspiring and the short term TA outlook is that the price will stay as it is for a while. Just my humble TA opinion. |

today SGX Co. announcement, Wee CY purchased about 0.3 mil. UIC share . Vol. and price are going up. Good sign. Result for the second quarter should be very much better than last year same period. |

diesel, I think ppl buying UIC cos of the expectation of the looming power struggle for control of UIC between the 2 major shareholders....WeeCY & UOL - JG Summit. Whoever wins control of UIC will control Singland.....UIC owns 72% of Singland. I suspect that after divestment of OUE, Wee CY is looking to rebuild his property empire thru gaining control of UIC. SingLand is majority held by UIC & UIC NAV is ard $1.4+, if I remember correctly from the latest AR. Maybe that's why these ppl are buying into UIC. |

Today SGX co. announcements: UOL purchased 9.73 mil UIC bringing deemed interest to 13.09%. Wee CY purchased 1.432 mil UIC bringing deemed interest to 18.125%. Coupled with the strong share price, something must be brewing........ |

You are right. UIC is a promisng stock.The stock market is falling for the last few days yet UIC went up. Wee Cho Yaw is accumalating this stock. Hopefully a takeover fight will come sooner. |

UIC seems like a promising stock to buy, it has a good property portfolio but has been quite low profile, compared to other property plays like Kep Land & Cap Land. Anyone who knows this stock or has been tracking this stock? |
