There are still some shortists attacking the price despite company buy back program.  Maybe the sellers just want to push down the price to buy cheaper.  I do believe that the price will come up soon.  The reasons for this share to be laggard as already mentioned.  But since it signed a mou to sell Intraco shares it has propped up a little.  40 cents should come within months.

I play both dividends and non dividend stock.  If Changtian doesn't pay and you are looking for dividends, it would be best to switch to one that is about same price but paying dividends.  This way after switching you can at least get back some money. Last round I switched to Azeus and got some money back.  I read Azeus' FY2012 and they will be giving HK$0.348 which is equivalent to nearly 0.6 Singapore cents. So with two payments, the total is more than 10 percent (last one: 3.5%, this coming about 8%) all these are based on their prices and not on my actual investments. Azeus is also cash rich.  Azeus payment is better than many counters such as Genting Sp, Midas, etc. that pays only l cents or less. There are many other counters with good steady dividends that you can switch to. Just have to do a search around sgx website.

There was ill-will within the management of the old PSC and many then left.  After top people leave, normally the market suspicious. But it seems the matter is cooled down with some HK buyers coming in.   As for cash rich companies, there are many of them. Only their shares are also not " wanted" .

There is every possibility of delist or takeover because of its good business and low share price.  Any takeover buyer will make a fortune out of it if they pay around current price levels.  But the company might privatize it for fear of being taken over.  In the latter case, they will have to pay you between 45 to 50 cents, otherwise alot  of shareholders will not accept any offer too far below NTA..

It has a proposal to sell its Intraco stake for 62 cents and will have to get shareholders' approval.  So if Intraco shoots up alot beyond 62 cents, eg. 72 cents, then shareholders will not want to approve the sale. If intraco moves up, the stake will worth more, so the price of Hanwell will move up.  If Intraco goes down, then the sale will be guaranteed, and Hanwell will sell the 62 cents intraco at a book loss of several million dollars because they bought the shares very high last time.  Anyway, Hanwell should be above 50 cents sale or no sale of Intraco because all prices are factored in unless Intraco goes very high.

It is true. The books recorded 50 cents.  Then the company is buying back the shares, this shows the price is too low, otherwise company won't buy back.

Despite being in a profitable and lucrative business, Hanwell has yet to show that its share is well sought. The continuously buying back by the company has so far brought no spectacular climb of the share price, nor bringing it nearer to its net asset value.  Company or associates should work harder and show that Hanwell is receiving market confidence.  Price target should be above 50 cents.
