PCA Technology posts 175% rise in full-year net profit to $7.3m 

Compared to the previous financial year, net profit rose from US$2.1 million to US$5.9 million ($7.3 million) on the back of a 23.7% increase in revenue, which rose from US$35 million to US$43 million.

PCA Technology says the strong performance is attributable to the recovery of the electronics market and stronger market demand during the year. The turnkey and consignment businesses reported significantly improved performance.

By business segments, both Consumer Electronics and Industrial Products turned in stronger sales.

Revenue contribution from Consumer Electronics rose by 74.4% from US$10.8 million (FY2010) to US$18.8 million in FY2011 while revenue contribution from Industrial Products segment rose by 86.5% from US$4.1 million (FY2010) to US$7.6 million in FY 2011.



Sales from PC Peripherals segment contracted by 16.8% decreasing from US$17.5 million (FY2010) to US$14.6 million in FY2011.
