pinkygoh, well said. i think many credit cards are freezed, this affect the dec consumer spending. foreclosure for housing mortage is another big issue that cause stress to those debtors. |

no matter how situation goes.. election is comin.. they somehow or rather needs to contain it.. I m not sayin tat it will fall all the way.. but trading goes on.. Thus... entry pt is always being stressed upon.. TA could b good judgement.. FA could b good for long term investors.. Gambler like me.. always got time to fish something out of it.. heehee |

i spoke to an US colleague....situation there is really bad. She is 55yrs old, fortunately earning a decent pay and her house was paid off. Her hubby's business got to cease due to losses but luckily they end it early before the loss is too much to bear. Her son works as a carpenter. Due to the sub-prime problem, plus cheaper ready-made furniture from China, he hardly earn enough. So is his wife. Sometime he has to ask my colleague to buy them some breads just to keep the stomach filled. Apart from all the sub-prime problem, the credit card debt is sometime that is still not declared. My colleague said it's another can of worms ......... |

indeed.. cut or not cut.. FED will still ganna left right up and down... de worry tat u indicated here is basically for those who play contra.. right.. So long term investors will never worry so much.. if not.. i guess u will b de first one who get out of the Share market... heehee |

when oil price go up few day ago, everyone bet on christmas spending will boost up the dow. end result, the spending is below expectation. FED is caught in between, cut rate will lead to one problem and dun cut rate will lead to another. the foreclosure of housing loan is alarming and worst of all the jobless rate jump up a few %. good luck to those who think the market will rally before 08. |

Hi Pension, you are not alone.. i am on ur side. lolz.. i m bearish after reading all the bad data and news in U.S. as well as Japan counterparts.. When 2 major importers and exporters of the world are in trouble, the rest shd be wary. i always believe when U.S sneeze, the the world catch a cold.. i dun think the window dressing show can last any longer. the assasination news is jus an excuse for the traders to take profit for the recent rally and i m sure more profit taking activities will come soon.. Tonite i foresee another bloodshed in US mkt again and wahlaaa... Mon we will see more panicky selling. lolz.. |

To predict Market to go UP or Down is a 50:50 chances as it either go up or down. however, the key is to be consistent in making profit from market. |

As I've mention Pension is part of the terrorist group which plan the assasination of Bhutto that's why he's so confident that US market will be in the red hahaha..... Pension please dun be so proud about your prediction. US market drops more than 150pts is mainly due to the assasination and not so much about the news and articles you mentioned. Economic datas may not be very promosing but it would not cause such a big stir up if not for the assasination. When people is too proud and they fall, others will step on you. When you are humble and you fall, people will help you stand. Thats what happen to someone in this forum. I dun want you to be like him also. Not trying to teach you how to behave but just to highlight to you. I apologise first if you feel offended. |
