Excess Right Shares

Hi ,just to share. I had applied for excess right before. It is quite straight forward. When you are eligible for RIGHT SHARES, you are automatically informed by SGX with the prospectus and inside the prospectus, you can learn the procedure of right application, excess right application and how they ( the company) allocate the EXCESS RIGHT. Althought one way to apply excess right is to submit a form with payment ( in the manner described in the prospectus), It is usually simple to use ATM method to apply for excess right. Same procedure as IPO, you follow step by step in ATM and finally you choose to key in the quanity/dollars amount for application. After that you wait for SGX to inform you or just check 1. BANK account for SGX's refund 2. CDP account which will show you the number of excess right allocated to you. In one of the RIGHT application I was reading their allocation , suffice to just say they give priority to those people who want to round off their odd lot and they said Directors are the last priority on the allocation ( I think they want to stress the fairness to the share holders who choose to subsribe RIGHT Shares ). Care should be taken that allocation of excess right also can lead you to hold odd lot because when you apply with whatever quantity of excess right shares, you really do not know how many they allocate to you. One on prospectus I read, the Board of Directors shall determine the allocation and their decision is final. |

U can apply as many excess shares as u wish. But $ will be
stuck there for awhile. |

Hi, does anyone know how much excess rights shares can we subscribe and if we have subscribed for excess rights shares via the ATM, when will we know if we are successful? Is it via the ATM or from SGX? How are excess rights allocated? Tks!!
