As a newbie, the best thing you can do before you ask a veteran for advice is to ask him how much he/she has made to date in his/her stock market foray. This I think is the ultimate measure of a trader/investors market effectiveness. But in reality, no one will tell truthfully how much he/she has made, let alone how much he/she has lost. It's a question of face and pride... this is a fact of life to be learned early. |
