If go home no computer connected to internet can turn to Page 255 of Teletext to view the CD and EX date also. Page 311 onwards is the starting page of the SGX stocks. During advertisement can flip to those pages to view your stocks doing how well or not :) |

Hi a77itude, How to know when is the CD-Date period of the company and also the Ex-Date? |

first, read the FAQs from sgx website, this tells you about company shares and procedures. http://info.sgx.com/webinvedu.nsf/New+Investor+Education?Openview second, go to set up account with broker and CDP third, save some money and be sure this money is EXTRA money before you think of buying the shares. |

To receive it you need to purchase the stock anytime during the cd-date period and not selling it before the ex-date. After the ex-date the bonus, dividend...etc will be issued out to the person whose name is recorded in the entry. For more detail you may want to visit SGX web site. |

Hi All, Can someone kindly explain how all these below mention works. Bonus Dividend Entitlement Interest Offer Rights Ex-date Rec Date I've seen quite a number of post regarding all these, but i still don't understand how it works. i.e How to get the bonus, dividend, etc, when can i sell it if i got it, how to apply for it, etc I'm new to stock market and would greatly appreciate help from all the gurus here Regards Bumpkin |
