Human behaviour has not changed -it is governed by memes as opposed to genes which govern mainly physical attributes. Memes can be manipulated by propaganda-hence the value of blogs and rumours-for example -china dairy warrants at 1 cent was regarded as worthless but after it has gone up by 3100% there are legions of buyers who look upon it as a bargain and they could well be right until the bubble bursts-but when? The value of blogs cannot be underestimated-they are more powerful than reuters for manipulating human psyche. |
