the market since Feb 28th has taken it's toll; newbies and the seasoned ones alike would have felt the impact; in a bull run throw a dart and wherever the dart lands that stock will run; BUT HOW CAN IT BE; China Farm and all the other IPOs is now gravitating towards fair value; to think that there was attempt to mislead on guestimating the fair value and PE, market capitalisation (read posts below) tells you that there are many still wet behind the ears in this forum, students, grads, young professionals alike, who does not know how to calculate or search for this information, suggests a mkt top ....so take what you read with a pinch of salt (including this posting) macro events dictate, including local scenarios; and the savvy ones glean through tonnes of information from investment houses, CLSA, JPM, BCA and etc etc ... to make an informed action; it is hoped that we all can survive this and for those who had a BIG HOLE in their pockets, learn from this experience and it is my hope that over the years, you will be able to learn how to invest wisely, when to punt, when to speculate and etc and etc ... a wake up call; ... the market is always CRUEL. btw Kinergy is now 25 cts a far cry from the high of 74 cts on IPO day Cheers, Good luck |

I think you should use 2.8cts instead of 3.8cts. Because their next FY report is based on 128M share float and not 95M share (see pg 33 of pop) . At 64.5 cts, it takes 22.88 year to earn 64.5 cts. Assuming they earn the same EPS. |

The market cap is obtained by mutlipying the issued and paid up shares (which is 128,040,000 shares) by the traded price. As of now the trading price is 65.5 cts (at 11.55 am) which gives market capitalisation of approx $86.6 million. The PE is calculated from the eps (earnings per share, which is 3.80 cts from last FY) by dividing 65.5 by 3.8 (PE means price over earnings, per share) =17.23X sigh sigh sigh |

I think the volume is thin as the market cap is so small, it is easy corner out, the price here does not reflect the truth support level, so be careful. | ||

The cap is thin, it is easy corner out and manipultated, so be careful. this is all old tricks, take a look at example C2O. I think it is coming down sooner or later unless corner out. Good Luck. | ||

The offering of 20.2 million new shares, which raised $5.7 million (US$3.71 million), was about 97.9 times subscribed, the company said in a statement. It said CEI Contract Manufacturing as an strategic investor has separately subscribed 12.8 million shares at the issue price, representing 10 per cent of the Kinergy's post invitation share capital. at 64.5 cts now it is trading at PE of 17X ..and mkt cap is now $82.5 million ...a bit stretched in my opinion ...valuation wise. look at industry average PE and decide. my take is "take profits" | ||

Not a very good stock as compare to previous few ! Electronic and tech is still weak, thus contract manuf., is not strong sector. Anyone want to give a short on this for a few cents in volume is ok. Now coming down 0.66 ! | ||

If US market closed bullish green later + the fact that this counter is "overwheming responded" = Good sign. But Budget Day and long holidays ahead = Bad Sign. If the "manipulators" will to "act" in the opposite way from "normal investors" = Stock Dive. | ||
