ack. just realised what i wrote sounds like a cheap backhanded self-compliment. how annoying of me. Sorry. what i really meant: as a female, it isn't funny, nor complimentary to be forcibly manhandled, little old ladies or not. eh. giantlow. mebbe we should set up a thread for all these random postings (The Fellowship?? :P), so that we can let serious conversationalists carry on without distractions. :) the correction's here. expecting the STI to drop below 3k by today. |

i'm small sized, yea. and i tend to flit around *haha*. ..and what is it with little old caucasian ladies?! each time i go to the US or Europe, they like to come up to me and grab me by the hand/face and coo, "ooh, what a beautiful little oriental girl!" like i'm some kind of doll or what....>o< oop paiseh, digression here. hehe. apologies to all reading. :) |

brandon, you sound like an expert. I'll be listening closely to you from now on. still very impressed by your genting trade. :) agree with you and singaporegal abt market sensitivity. Expecting the DOW/STI to drop further tonight/tomorrow. Market's overbought and a lot have taken, or are waiting to take profit. Also, from what i know, at least one category of the big boys have completed (or will tmrw complete) their final sells, and will then be sitting out the market. So might be a bleed tomorrow and week aft. Only hope the small retail investors don't get caught. Elf has locked in profits and divested the last of her trading positions today already. Good luck to those still vested. :) |

i dun see a major correction due soon but 2007 will be a more mixed year compared to 2006. gotta be more selective in choosing counters. | |||||

I agree with brandonharrist. The market is very sensitive to bad news now. Actually, I think that a minor correction would be healthy for the market right now. Let the bull relax for a little while before continuing the charge. |

I think the market will tend to overreact on negative news from now on. People just want some reasons to take profit. But correction should be temp, so much liquidity in the market. Asset allocation by funds still prefer equity something like 50% equities 30% bonds and 20% cash. | |||||

is the marketing going thru' a (major) correction soon? market analysts forewarning that market correction will hit soon right after it crossed over 3,000pts y'day. though i don't think it is going thru' correction now (i like to say the bull is shaking its bum alittle to rid the fleas), does any gurus here "predict" what the low level would be if it indeed is going thru' correction? |
