The fund is offering a 9% dividend yield next year, with potential for further upside. It announced an IPO of 323.46m shares at $1.06 each. The public offer, which opens today, comprises 6.47m public offer shares and 316.99m placement shares. Trading is slated to begin on 20 Dec, after the offer closes next Monday. One of the fund's target sectors is "alternative assets" such as biofuels and song copyrights. Such funds give people a chance to invest in assets that are usually not listed. The investment bank said investors can expect to receive total payout of 10.06 cents per share by end-2007. This comprises a dividend of 9.54 cents for 2007 - a 9% yield - plus an additional 0.52 cents for the period from listing date to 31 Dec this year. |

Just applied for it thru DBS internet IPO placement. Given the current market sentiments, this is a good IPO. Strong backing from Australia second largest bank. Worth applying for it. Don't see it gg under water. |
