The Korean Kim-chi is a bit sourish-hot for the US alone to handle. The US needs PRC helps to pacify the Kim-chi and try to sweeten the 'deals'. US can't afford to start another war and Kim-chi knows that and Iran too. It is going to be a real tough negotiation for the US - definitely no more ' EITHER YOU'RE WITH US OR YOU'RE AGAINST US ' If the talk fail, there won't be a financial crisis - it'll be D-Day! |

Iran is a cause of concern for the Western world. A nuclear Iran will definitely tip the balance of the power in the Middle East. Israel will be the first to feel it. US will be forced to step in, if it dares. North Korea is a concern for the Asian World. Any more bellicose behavior from that Kim fella may trigger another Asian Financial crisis. |

MAD - mutually assured destruction should prevent any war from happening .i e if war starts ALL DIE together. Watch Iran though. They have more influence on the world than North Korea |

Everyone knows that N. Korea was an infinitely more dangerous threat than Iraq was. Instead of focusing on that, he went to protect his daddy's reputation. Now that Kim guy has nuclear weapons and the probability of nuclear war is high |

In fact the 1st bush was to drive sadam out of Kuwait and forced the enemy to withdraw to a certain 'safe zone'. On hindsight, if he had gone allthe way and finished off the job, the 2nd bush would have nomore bad-dad problems to beat around! Just like your investment, cut off the bad ones and you'll have less worry! Cheers! |

The first Bush was wise enough to stop attacking Bagdad because there was no international support. The current Bush is a cowboy. He attacked Iraq with poor planning, no proof of nuclear arms and no international support. Now its a huge mess and he's going to leave office very soon and it's going to be someone else's problem. |

The 1st bush used to beat around the bush and got kickout. The 2nd bush is no different; only this time round, he has gone around the bush so many times that there isn't anymore bush to beat. So there is going to be a change, definitely! But after that, will there be another bush to beat? Cheers! |

I hope the Republicans get booted out in the coming US elections!
BAGHDAD, Iraq (AP) -- A senior U.S. diplomat said the United States had shown "arrogance" and "stupidity" in Iraq but was now ready to talk with any group except Al-Qaida in Iraq to facilitate national reconciliation. In an interview with Al-Jazeera television aired late Saturday, Alberto Fernandez, director of public diplomacy in the Bureau of Near Eastern Affairs at the State Department offered an unusually candid assessment of America's war in Iraq. "We tried to do our best but I think there is much room for criticism because, undoubtedly, there was arrogance and there was stupidity from the United States in Iraq," he said. |
