This follows Bernake's speech.
US stocks fell on Wed with the S&P 500 posting its biggest decline in three weeks, after minutes from the latest Fed meeting showed signs officials were open to tapering large-scale asset purchases from as early as at the June meeting. Also mean possibility interest rate may rise in the near future (though I think there are conflicting views on this). Either today was an excellent time to pick up some Reits and "good stocks" you have been eyeing from a knee jerk market reaction, or it is the start of a progressive decline in equity values. I am betting it is the former - just my own view. |

Almost all REITs dropping like no tomorrow since trading started today (23-May). What happen? New rules introducted to control the property rental? Anyone has any clue? |
