anyone has any views on this counter? Been buying back lots of shares. Aiming to delist? My only concern about holding this long term is that paltry 1percent dividend yield at current price.   |

KOH Brothers Group Limited's net profit for the fourth quarter ended Dec 31, 2012, jumped five-fold to $6.5 million from $1.3 million a year ago. This was on a 74 per cent increase in revenue to $116.1 million, due mainly to progressive revenue recognition from its 99-year residential project, Parc Olympia at Upper Changi, which was launched in July last year. Said Francis Koh, managing director and group chief executive officer of Koh Brothers: " While knee- jerk reactions to the latest round of cooling measures are inevitable, we remain positive on a stable outlook for Singapore's property sector." " Demand from first-time homebuyers looking for a quality property is expected to remain strong and we are of the view that property prices will remain stable," he added. |

Is there any website which we could read about that public announcement which caused the transaction to halt recently?

Looks like trading has resumed after a few days’ of halt. So what was  the announcement made, good news or bad news? |

I did not say it's anyone fault. It depends on where one stand from. Eg. If i wanna delist a company, delisting cheap does not mean i m doing something wrong! But if i purposely suppress the value n delist cheap, then i think i am sinful. I'm just speaking from the view of a third party and does not stress anything. On top of that, no one who bought Koh Bro does not know that their share are cheap, in other words, would u buy a 5room flat in woodlands for $1M ? Hmm.... |

Its not Koh Bros fault that market is not appreciative of their value. The fact is anybody who has been to the AGM will know that the management has repeatedly stressed that their shares are cheap thats why they introduced the share buyback mandate.

if good news = big contract award otherwise bad news could be heavy fine/penalty by MOM / Downtown MRT for scaffold collapse in July 2012 killing 2 workers n injuring 8 others. No one know until they announce.
