It manufactures metal, resin and nylon zippers. The company said about $5.6m of the IPO proceeds will be used for working capital and $4.6m to acquire new production equipment and computer system. Other uses for the money include expanding production and increasing its sales and marketing network. The company expects to increase its production capacity of zippers to about 400m pieces per year. CMZ said it will focus on the high-end zipper market and plans to increase its R&D in this area. |

CMZ Holdings, which makes zips in China, said that it plans to raise $17.5 million for expansion in an IPO. The company, which would have a market capitalisation of $70.1 million based on the offer price of $0.23, said in its prospectus that it will issue about 76.2 million new shares in the IPO. The offer will open on Jul 9 and close on Jul 12. Trading in shares of the company will start on Jul 16. Omega Capital is the manager for the IPO, while SBI E2-Capital Asia Securities is the underwriter and placement agent. |
