Long term Genting SP will probably do well. Many years ago when the mother company created a jungle clearing in the middle of nowhere, with no Government support, in a Muslim country, nobody gave it a chance. Today RWS sits in a prime spot in the middle of some of the busiest sealanes and airport and most importantly has the full backing and support of the Government. It will also have a world class theme park and other attractions. Its success is a measure of how successful SG is in reinventing itself as a classy holiday and tourist destination. It just cannot fail. So don't just write Genting off yet. It is way too early to pass judgement on this company. |

Resorts World Sentosa and Tiger Airways Singapore have announced plans for a chartered aircraft dedicated to flying overseas guests to Singapore’s first integrated resort.
The aircraft will operate as a chartered service for Resorts World Sentosa, transporting guests between Singapore and other cities around the region. Under the agreement, Resorts World Sentosa will take over the lease of the aircraft. The plane will ply Tiger Airways’ existing region—wide network. The service is expected to be offered later this year. In a statement, Tiger Airways said guests can expect a seamless journey that would span air—travel followed by land transfers to Resorts World Sentosa. Rosalynn Tay, managing director, Tiger Airways Singapore, said: "We are proud to partner Resorts World Sentosa in bringing more visitors to Singapore. This is a real alliance with real benefits to both partners. "While Tiger Airways gets a new revenue stream and reduced costs, Resorts World Sentosa gets a cost—effective solution to bringing more customers to Singapore’s most exciting new destination." She added: "Having grown from a young cub to a big strong cat, it is time Tiger Airways Singapore has its own cub to add strength and joy to the Tiger family. Asia has many other untapped opportunities, and we look forward to creating more innovative ways to grow our paw prints in the Year of the Tiger." Liang Wern Ling, Director of Destination Sales, Resorts World Sentosa, said: "We promised Singapore that Resorts World Sentosa will bring tourism to the country and reinvent its tourism landscape. Further upward movement will be restricted by the following potential resistances : 1. 200 SMA 2. 200 EMA 3. Green Pitchfork Median Line 4. Neckline Support turned resistance line 5. Upper resistance boundary of the green pitchfork With the release of grim news after the market closed that Genting posted a full-year net loss of $277.6 million, more than double the $124.8 million in 2008 and that revenue fell 22 per cent to $491. 2 million there is a high chance of a retest of the immediate pink support. A breakdown below the 90 cents will result in a test of the following probable supports :
