There are reasons for the drop since IPO. But the drop was over-done and it is pending for a nice re-bounce from both fundamental and technical view points. It was listed in the peak time. Of course, the company will mark-up the issuing price. However, after the IPO, the overall market was melted due to the US side. China stock and property markets are affected as well. Thus, the share price dived from $0.83. Meantime, an US investment arm needed fund badly, and dumped its holding (without consider the internal value of the company). Now, the US firm has finished selling all its holding and the market start seriously thinking about the real internal value. A company investing in a fast moving economy with high potential requirement in property will definitely benefit. Recently, the company announced they are selling the land use right and expected a huge cash collection. That will strengthen both the balance sheet and P&L in 2008. Last Friday, the stock jumped more than 13% in a single day. Today, it should be closed at least at $0.13 (or 4% up) with strong buying interest chasing up the price. You can ask yourself what is the risk of investing in this stock and what is the potential return? The risk is $0.13, but the return can be huge. |

Very surprise that China-New Town, can fall so much, from IPO 0F -/830 cts. How much further can it fall, before any chance of RE-BOUNCED ? Any other comments ! My thinking is that it is already so low, and I believe sooner than later it will re-bounced to a reasonable level so saying to find its water level. from water/mountain. |
