I agree with billywows. I think the recent surprise news about Dell switching over to AMD chips may have boosted Chartered's share price. I believe good times ahead for Chartered holders! |

Its Dell's latest news that it will be using AMD chips for its computers now (Dell used to get the chips solely from Intel)! And AMD has earlier approached Chartered to produce its chips in case it can't meet demand. Chartered has already tied up with Microsoft and IBM before AMD, its a boom time this year on ... Shiok!!! |

Believed Chartered Semi has peaked as of now. Valuation is probably on overdrive. Even if there r good profit news due from extended contracts from existing customers, the current valuation needs more big break contracts from profit margins and higher operating utilisation in order to break down the cost. On my personal view, prefer to collect some profits as of now then buy in on the low in the month of june. Sell ard 1.65 is a good price. Buy in ard 1.35. Valuing it @ price of 1.40. kev >.< |
