Multi-Con Systems is buying a 75% stake in energy conservation company CEE Tech and Management Pte Ltd for $41.3m. The acquisition will be funded by the issue of 154.8m shares priced at $0.15 each and $8m cash, a $3m advance which can be converted into new CEE shares and subscription of new shares in CEE amounting to $7.1m. |

With the Beijing Olympics 2008 approaching and even beyond that, the travel boom in China should continue full steam ahead. You can see more and more China tourists and so, it should be a fine investment into a travel related company in China. What's now is to wait for the rights issue and the formal signing of the agreement. :) I think one should have a long term view holding this share especially since Beijing Olympics 2008 is still one year away. |

Thanks Mate. Believed they will registered some positive sign in their bottom line after the completion of acquistion. Given the booming travel industry in China, the acquistion should make sense..Patience is the key.... |

i believe in this counter too, looks like have to hold this counter till oct when all recover low vol counter is like that, but also good that not many pushing it down once they approved the rights, wt issues, the price would recover |

Seem to have some rebound after days of sell off..Amazing today fall is the lowest -0.05 cent despite overnight decline in DJ and board mkt. If mgt direction venture into China speak volume, share price should rebounce back to fourty over cent level and surge higher...Cheers Mate. |

Multicon has announced the issue of right share at 6cents per share owned. Furtther once you subscribe the right which costs you $60 for every one right share, you are also entitled to warrants which has a conversion price of 15 cents. The company is expanding aggressively into China as evident in it's acquisition of the Sky.com (PRC). Once the approval for the rights and warrants is obtained, I believe after some calculation, the intrisic value should be more than 60 cents. The sky.com has a guaranteed profit of 9 million and 12 million for the year 2007 and 2008 and the costs of the acquisition is only 28 millioms. So in the long term, it looks like a sound investment. |

dunno who dare to short this counter as you can't predict what happened end of the day, you won't be able to see any buy q below but comes 4pm u would see the buy q already as for short covering, thought this is done by shortist themselves, CDP (tot should be SGX) won't do it for you I think, SGX will do it for you but its on 4th day 1130 hrs I tend to think the buying is from the company themselves or investors who believe in this company last time I sold too early for this counter and make peanuts because I could always see sell Q but no buy Q , so this time I won't sell till > 40 cts , u can never expect when buying would come |

bocelli: if you notice enuff during closing time there is always so called buying up 2 bids or higher. these are most probably CDP buying in at last done price + 2 bids to cover for shortist who did not cover on same day. last time i tot it is shortist at work then later i figure it is not. the phenonmenon occurs almost simultaneously on all other stocks too. so cannot be so many stocks got last minute closing buy up correct? after the buy up finish the buy and sell price is back to normal :) so therefore if you quick enuff to look you can see how many lots are bought in to cover for the shortist. you multiply the difference and you pity for the shortist who gotta pay assuming the price shorted is much cheaper :( |

don't think there's BB in this inactive counter, but as you watched on closing you can see there's always buying up, so think its worth the wait or sell only when it recover above 40 cts think i will hold for 2 months wait to see their results, should be much better then before, and possibly more good news |

Past 2 days I keep seeing people dumping too thought this counter is not a speculative stock like banjoo, jade, rowsley, hlg and its profit is now guaranteed wuth last fri news and further announcement this 2 days suggested they have clear off their debt should have sold last fri when it hit all time high , didn't expect contra players to be selling down or shortist to be in this counter even as its volume is low dunno what to do now i hope others see the potential of this counter , and buy on weakness |

Really surprised by the magnitude of the fall after their annoucement. Drop from high of 0.465 to 0.365 before recovered to close at 0.385..just only 2 days...Quite puzzled why the hugedecline despite it is not a high volume counter i.e. Baker Tech, Jade, Rowsly etc...Though they raised right issue for funding to acquire the co. that has guaranteed profit of 9m and 12mil in FY08 and FY09, it seem it is not exciting to some of the shareholders... The only reason I reckon is probably profit taking ...Hopefully it can sustain and surge for those still holding the counter....Good Luck! |

Really suprised by the way it dropped in the afternoon. I believe the contra players must be scared and started dumping. The sell vol. and overall vol. today is very small compared to the buys over the last few days. I believe it will go up for 2 main reasons. One is the stock has something to look forward to, since it has entered into a agreement which will have guranteed profits and secondly the rights issue, which one can get the stock cheap and reap the dividends over the next few months.
