Pacific Andes' fishing subsidiary China Fishery Group has appointed Isaac Finger Kogan, the chief financial officer (CFO) of its Peruvian subsidiary, to be CFO of Copeinca.
His appointment puts two China Fishery Peru executives at the head of Copeinca.
China Fishery did not say where  Angel Chiri Gutierrez, whom Finger is replacing, was leaving to,
The news is the latest management change at Copeinca since China Fishery  took over the Peruvian fishmeal  and oil producer in August.
On Sept 2, China Fishery placed the head of its Peru subsidiary, Jose  Miguel Tirado Melgar, as  new CEO of Copeinca,  replacing Pablo Trapunsky.
Trapunsky  had resigned  on Sept 2, right after the acquisition was completed.
The same day he left, sources told  Undercurrent News  that nearly all of Copeinca's key management  resigned en masse,  including fleet manager Diego Cateriano, sales manager Renato Balarezo, logistics manager Clemencia Barreto, legal manager Giuliana Cavassa and human resources manager Nathalie Mas.
Only two of the key management were said to have stayed behind, including Chiri.
The board was also entirely reshuffled. Its seven members were all dismissed, and replaced  with only four members  :  Ng Joo Siang and Ng Puay Yee, respectively CEO and executive director of  Pacific Andes International Holdings, alongside Icelandic Group's chairwoman  Herdis Drofn Fjeldsted  and another Icelander, Jon Thor Gunnarson.
Tirado did not return a request for comment to  Undercurrent  regarding Chiri's next move. However, the news  will reinforce suggestions that China Fishery will seek to integrate Copeinca into China Fishery Peru. Sources have said this might not be straightforward, as the two companies are said to have  widely different cultures.
" Copeinca thanks Chiri Gutierrez for his contribution to the company during  his tenure as CFO, and wishes him success in his future endeavours," said Tirado in a statement to the Oslo stock exchange, where Copeinca remains listed,  for now.
Finger has been CFO of China Fishery Group Investment SAC - the investment holding through which China Fishery owns its Peru subsidiary - since 2008.
Prior to joining the group, he worked as CFO at Hochschild Mining for four years. He graduated from Universidad de Lima with a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering and has a master of science in finance from the University of Rochester in New York.
