One possible scenario is that company might announce the business deal after today trading.Come Monday, the adjustment of the dividend would not be that drastic instead it may go up. Alternatively,deal announcement might come after the XD.But imo,the dilution wld not be outright 13c. Mgtment is very proactive.Notice the dividend payout date is just 7 days after announcement lodged with SGX on 27 Aug 13. Something is brewing for sure.Notice there was a rush to buy at the opening.Bro SC also notice that. DYODD. Anyway no bet cannot lose. |

There is potential risk of delisting if they cannot find a new business in time. Pursuant to Rule 1018, should the Company fail to enter into a definitive agreement for a new business that meets the requirements for a new listing by certain date, the SGX-ST will proceed to remove the Company from the Official List of the SGX-ST. Rule 1306 of the Listing Manual provides that if the SGX-ST exercises its power to remove an issuer from the Official List of the SGX-ST, the issuer or its controlling shareholder(s) must comply with the requirements of Rule 1309. Rule 1306 further provides that for purposes of Rule 1309, a reasonable exit offer may include a voluntary liquidation of the issuer?s assets and distribution of cash back to shareholders.
