You are absolutely right bro..but I was thinking limited scrips for REX easier to push..besides Kris Energy..u see substantial directors purchase during ipo debut..while REX no directors step in to buy..yet REX hold so well..REX public 2.5mil shares oversubscribed 153 times..question of demand verses supply..I like the fact that 500lots applied also subject to balloting and u can get 1 lot if successful Bananajump

Rex is an independent oil and gas exploration and production (E& P) company. It is somewhat similar to KrisEnergy (if that is what you want to ask) except that it claimed to have access to a proprietary and innovative exploration technologies called ?Rex Technologies? which helped to mitigate exploration risks and reduces costs of exploration.

Rex Technologies..sported this..Kris Energy> $1 is it still worthwile or switch to REX Intl..any comments

KrisEnergy agreed with its joint venture partner to go ahead with the Nong Yao oil development in the G11/48 contract area in the Gulf of Thailand. First oil is anticipated to flow in 1H15. The group acquired a 25% working interest in G11/48, which covers 6,791 sq km in the southern Pattani Basin and northern Malay Basin in 2009.

Shares of oil and gas explorer KrisEnergy, backed by Keppel Corp and private equity firm First Reserve, rose above the initial public offering price in their trading debut on the Singapore Exchange.

The KrisEnergy stock advanced as much as 14.5% to $1.26 on Friday, versus its IPO price of $1.10, but gave up some of the gains to trade at S$1.165 at around 11 am . It was the top-traded stock by value in the Singapore market.

The company sold 151.99 million shares and an additional 94.16 million shares to cornerstone investors, raising gross proceeds of $270.8 million.

“It’s an oil exploration company. If they can strike oil then the share price will go up, but basically the nature of the business is highly risky,” said a trader.

“The fact that Keppel Corp bought a stake in the company is kind of a vote of confidence, but the pricing was at the top of the range,” he added.
