Straits Time today reported that Ooredoo have links to Starhub. It owns 25 per cent in Asia Mobile holdings and STT holds the rest. Asia Mobile owns 57 per cent of Starhub. Good chance for Bewell Co Ltd to go after that link. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||

One of the Scandinavia companies (Norway's Telenor) got the telecomms license. So the chances of them working closely with Nokia handsets (another Scandinavia Company) is very very high. ka kee nun - you scratch my back, and I scratch yours. Lol. Huat-ah! Bewell (Myanmar) Co Ltd & STT (Starhub) tried to bid for Myanmar Teleco license but failed. I suspect Mdr may become Starhub retailer through Bewell Corporation Pte Ltd (this joint venture company have not show hand yet). This is solely my guess as I feel there is not a lot of Starhub retailer shop in Singapore unlike Singtel & M1 in every shopping center. |

With GMS, the foreign teleco also will be keen to coorperate with local company to help retail for them. After market sales service involves lesser cost and higher profit margin. Also distributing cheaper Nokia phones in Myanmar where not a lot of people can afford expensive phones bodes well for Mdr to start business in Myanmar. Mdr CEO say that their shop will be all in one shop so I am still waiting what first in Myanmar concept store they going to annouce soon. |

Hahahaha ................ Shit-tel CEO face don't know where to hide! Maybe in long gou or mrt tunnels. WTS! Embark on recruitment drive like as if sure win. Million $$$ beng tang minster also no use. Now all effort and $$$ gone with the wind. mDR will collaborate with the winners, and sell as much handsets as possible. Still can huat-ah! Not for the faint hearted.
