The Group’s overall gross profit margin for 1Q-13 decreased marginally from 11% to 10% due to a change in sales mix. Net profits for the Group decreased by $0.7m or 45% from $1.6 million to $0.9 million quarter-on-quarter. Higher staff costs and professional fees incurred for business development attributed to the decline in profits.

So i think they dun need Singtel. but now MDR is on downtrend. stock price is being played. judging from today" s price action seems like retails are panic dumping. Mdr is paying dividends soon. in May.
