hmm...u think overall Credit Suisse is doing very well in Europe? I m not surprised that they still made tone of money ...if they bought the 50m shares at initial IPO price 80cents. plus all the divident YTD. in the shoes of investment mgr....it's still a good time to vest :)

From today newspaper: stX osv buy (s$1.265) OCBC notes at close of mandatory offer for STX OSV shares, Fincantieri received 4.88% valid acceptances, bringing total shareholdings to 55.63%. Low acceptance level unsurprising given Board of Directors has recommended shareholders reject Fincantieri’s offer, OCBC says. OCBC maintains Buy call with unchanged S$1.52 fair value estimate |

STXOSV will remain listed after Fincantieri Oil & Gas failed to accumulate enough shares for its offer which closed on wed..OCBC rated a buy All along there was no risk of delisting since the Italians already stated from start that they did not want to delist. Anyway, do take analyst calls with a pinvh of salt. |
