On a serious note, Tamasek and DBS's investment in HLGE could be something to tickle the imagination. Hahaha. I sense that there is a big piece of pudding being the main attraction. Otherwise, who wants to smell dung? Something good is coming at least for HLG's loyal shareholders. Let us watch loh... | ||||

Agreed. The mgtm group and board members are very experience so should be doing a professional job, not to mention HLGE is in HL stable... Just that they are taking a long time to get their act together in creating a substainable business. Maybe the industry/market is tough and their current asset limitation. Very much needing a magician to give it a wand and make it a different animal. | ||||

They are magicians in some ways, if you would like to put it like that. They could really wave a wand and " whooooop!" a piece of silver or gold bar will appear. Then many precious metals will just appear, and you can fell them to know that they are real!!! Wohohohoho!!! On a more serious note, HLGE is on to good journey, going forth from now, I believe. The management are smart people, and know what they are doing, though it may seem to unprofessional people like us that they don't know business at all. Hahahaha!!

I thought they probably would have clinched some deals in the Iskandar project But instead it was Capital Land who got there with many other big boys. Maybe Temasek may pass something good for HLGE to support profitability for its stake there.

That is interesting news. They need to do something different to get be profitable and not to get into Watchlist. Cannot imagine a HL counter doing this bad........ | ||||

Have a kind of good feeling that this sleeping volcano is spewing out some ashes. Happen to look at their holdings and found Temasek has about 12 percent stake. Don't know when they entered. Last time I never notice Temasek bought HLGH. Can watch, but don't anyhow jump in yet.

Yes, if one reads all their past reports, always gave a pessimistic outlook. But have paid off 20 million loans since two years ago. The bosses didn't want to play this counter yet, but when the time is ripe, will be good to see. Like skillful street magicians, they always have many things up in their sleeves and their black hats to be brought out to surprises, eg. when the magician takes off his hat, a big rabbit will just roll out, and then the pigeons appear. Likewise, when they are ready to give good news, those didn't bought at the cheap might lament, " never buy, what a waste!" I ain't talking rubbish, this is the way of life, hahahaha.
