Do not accept the Italian offer for S$1.22 as this counter is worth much more. Let us the small holders send a strong message to Fincanteiri that they cannot bully we Singaporeans. This company STX OSV is doing well and gives good dividend and is worth much more than this stupid offer which in all counts must be rejected. Please do not respond to the letter sent by mail. | ||

superb, jus 1.5 months into 2013, clinched near SGD 0.5 billion sgd businesses. Read from one article previsously saying, companies who defer their subsea vessel orders in 2012 will make up for it in 2013, so more subsea vessel orders to come, surely.

Mandatory offer is only a formal requirement which may not necessarily go through if stock holders do not take up the offer, no? If the offer is not taken up, will it remain listed in the market, whereupon it may soar, especially in view of the new contracts? This will constitute valuabe discussion, though. |

STX OSV SECURES CONTRACT FOR ONE OFFSHORE SUBSEA CONSTRUCTION VESSEL FOR DOF SUBSEA Singapore, 14 February, 2013 – STX OSV Holdings Limited (“STX OSV”), one of the major global designers and shipbuilders of offshore and specialized vessels, is pleased to announce that it has secured a new contract for the design and construction of one Offshore Subsea Construction Vessel (“OSCV”) for DOF Subsea. The vessel will be of OSCV 12 design, developed by STX OSV in Ålesund, Norway. It will have a total length of approximately 161 meters and a beam of 32 meters. Delivery is scheduled from STX OSV Søviknes in 1Q 2015. The hull will be delivered from STX OSV Tulcea in Romania. |
