Alright ....This was Long long ago...glad i found it back i sold midas at 43.5 cents i think .Cause it was really bad condition at that point of time was wondering if its time to buy back something i abandon long long ago..

Midas announced that it has secured new contract orders worth RMB139.3m
consisting of RMB74.6m metro contract from its JV company NPRT for the
Nanjing Metro Line 3 project, and RMB64.7m worth of orders for Siemens AG
projects in Russia (Desiro RUS Sochi and Velaro Rus2) and Belgium (Desiro
Mainline Bruxelles). Deliveries for the Nanjing Metro Line 3 project are
expected to be made from 2012 to 2014 whilst for the overseas projects,
these are expected to be delivered over 2012 and 2013.

Whilst still awaiting for orders to resume from China's high speed
passenger railway segment, Midas continues to win contracts from the metro
segment and international projects, which will help the Group stay
profitable. We estimate that following these contracts win and deliveries
in 2Q12, the Group's order book stands at c. RMB700m.

We maintain our view that orders could start to pile up again for Midas in
the second half of this year as China resumes orders for high speed
passenger trains, and boost earnings recovery and hence its share price.
Maintain BUY, TP S$0.49.

Midas unit bags contracts worth $28m

Midas Holdings said its unit, Jilin Midas Aluminium Industries Co., has received new orders worth a total RMB139.3 million ($27.6 million).

The first contract, worth RMB74.6 million, was awarded by the group’s JV company Nanjing SR Puzhen Rail Transport Co. Under the deal, Jilin Midas will supply aluminium alloy extrusion profiles for 46 train sets or 276 train cars for the Nanjing Metro Line 3 project.

Delivery for this contract is expected to take place from 2012 to 2014.

In addition, Jilin Midas secured orders for three Siemens AG projects in Russia and Belgium.

The RMB64.7 million worth of orders are for the supply of aluminium alloy extrusion profiles and fabricated parts for Siemens AG’s Desiro Mainline Bruxelles project in Belgium and Desiro RUS Sochi and Velaro RUS2 projects in Russia.

Delivery for these orders is expected to take place progressively from 2012 to 2013.

This few weeks i can see funny games in Midas.

R they playing shake away + collecting? I not too sure also.

Anyway i had places a bet at 0.280 too. If die lets die together la, at least not so lonely.

Midas sees big deals in China rail sector

Firm set for strong recovery as Beijing ends rail crash probe

MAINBOARD-LISTED aluminium extrusion and rail coach-maker Midas Holdings is poised for a strong business recovery, now that Beijing has completed its year-long investigation of the July 2011 catastrophic high-speed train crash in China, according to its chief executive officer Patrick Chew Hwa Kwang.

Besides the Chinese capital approving spending that has been put on hold on its national high-speed rail grid, Chinese cities are also embarking on aggressive projects to build metro systems.

According to Mr Chew, after a year-long freeze the Chinese Ministry of Railway and state-owned rail enterprises CSR Corp (China Southern Rail) and China CNR (Northern Rail) have started pushing ahead with the 2.5 trillion yuan (S$498 billion) railway construction and upgrading programme under China's 2010-2015 Five Year Plan.

" Banks are committing to finance some two trillion yuan, while the government is underwriting bonds and offering a 50 per cent tax break on yield to bondholders," he said. " Almost 90 billion yuan has already been raised."

On Monday, Midas re-tests the resistance at $0.335 and closed at $0.32 with HIGH volume of 26.35 million shares traded.

During the past 10 bars, there have been 4 white candles and 3 black candles for a net of 1 white candle. During the past 50 bars, there have been 14 white candles and 19 black candles for a net of 5 black candles.

Both RSI & MACD are bearish as RSI trend downward.

Important Resistance of Midas: $0.335

Immediate Support of Midas: $0.31

Currently prices are resisted by 100 days MA at $0.335.

Thanks for the analysis & reminder. Since market sentiment is not so good, I have taken profit this morning around 0.325 when it can't break 0.335. Will see further when it fills the gap.
