Dear Jackjames, Frankly speaking, I do not believe what you said at all. Instead I keep buying at this price level!!! Now, at SGD. 0.275 the price is already far below its NTA price. So I like to buy the whole company if only I could!!! Any way I try my best!!! |

TA point of view, the immediate support point is 0.25 (which is close to the price now, and it drop to 0.255 last week)... and the next resistance point is at 0.20, which is a safe figure to enter... so, 0.20, I will consider. |

Dear iPunter, Your Limbo Rock song inspire the strong buying sentiment to me, nevertheless to the market too. Thank you very much. I buy 51 lots today at Sgd. 0.27 at one go and will accumulate further till no longer selling at this price. For your info. most likely the IR underground SMRT project is awarded to Lum Chang. Yup, me dump it at 32.0. Just need to cut lost & move on to the next counter. I see no point in hanging in for this. Even if rebound it will hardly reach my entry point. If to average down then why not move on to some potential counters to make more right? I admire the spirit from Hulumas...never say die... |

I got in at 0.36 and got out at 0.38 (it was a long wait for 0.38 too) in Jan.....after waiting, i decide to get rid of this stock after making a small profit.....volume is small and price do not move much that time. synnexo, hope you have managed to get out, cos it was a high entry point that you came too. Hulumas, you seems like the richest guy in SJ!! :O |

hulumas... I must salute you for your resilience in 'fighting the market'... I observe you are practising the art of averaging down in a big, big way... But I suspect even a funds manager with literally unlimited funds will 'frown' at such an investment style like yours. I had quickly dumped all my Lum Chang holdings on the day the sand ban was announced and managed to get out at around 0.37. To me, although I am a technical purist, this must be a classic 'FA decision' on my part, since the stock had since fallen much and it may be a good time to pick it up again whilst watching the new pattern develope. However, your style of investment will definitely make you a financial winner in a big way when the market tide rises in future, which it must. I wish you best when the tide turns... :) |

This counter reminds me of a joke previously. There was talk of a merger between Lum Chang and Haw Par and the new name is: U guess it - L.P. (too obscene to spell out full here). Later they called off the merger because it's not nice if an investor wants to place his order to his broker over the phone, especially in the MRT. Imagine he saying over the phone: L.P. ng liap (in hokkien)...... So the rest is history. |
