word of advice from burnt investor: starcruise never gives dividend for the years i held its share. it does not make good profit and i am surprise where it gets all those money to further reinvest. it never return anything to investor. no fundamentals and something fishy with its operation i feel. |

Pending closure to the ongoing matter, hope the operators will protect their investment in SC by changing the image thus far that SC shares cannot perform better than penny stocks and may become "crippled" very very soon. |

GIL & SC must have planned before tendering, how to raise the capital needed to build the 2nd IR. Whatever the reason for the proposed investment by Stanley in SC, let's pray our authority can clear up the matter asap |

My concern is SC's parent, GIL, is now scrambling for capital to start the IR2. Probably that's why Stanley Ho was called in. Otherwise, why would GIL wants to go against the government, knowing all the odds against it? |

don't worry too much, if u have the money, why not wait for few more weeks or months.. correction is around the corner man, i don't believe one will just keep bullish ALL THE WAY... my Gurus all sold off their stakes last month and waiting for the correction... remember, India just drop 600 points last two days... that's about 4.8% drop in mumbai index.. so, that is considered minor correction.. I am saying huge correction ... well, when that moments come, make sure you have the money and guts to just go in any counter, and you will huat.. well, not sure if u are ready with the cash, but I am ready man.. go for it..! |

The lead for SC's recovery shd be when S'pore govt gives the OK to SC proposed change of investment plan in Macau. Issue can't be delayed much longer or else completn of 2nd IR will be affected. Let all vested in SC pray hard. |

Besides experience, the asset and liabilities and finacial muscles of the IR bidders were thoroughly scrutinised before they are allowed to bid. Given the care taken in the stringent verification process, surely it is unlikely that there is a mess up in the tender awarding process. In this light, SC should recover. But by how much and how fast will be hard to tell. |

I've vested so more to average down. Hope it's not throwing good money after bad money. Irony is that I've made good money in Genting. Star Cruise is such a disappointment! |

Hi lucky168 - those invested may have to wait for ages for the 2nd spike. SC (well-known brand name) shd perform better, instead of being a disappointment. |

wait4opp, you are right, we must follow the market if we do contra or short selling.. anyway, so far, I do not short sell yet... but contra must be done when the market is BULLish.. oh well, the price is good to enter with small lots size to test the market. vested. |

Short sellers are waiting for the right time to buy up as IR is confirmed.... Let's hope that all vested are getting back their losses. Me also do not want to see ppl loose their hard earn money..... Sorry if my word did offend everyone here in the forum.... |

Tks iPunter . Hope everyone vested will see SC as a turnaround kid. Of course, short sellers are always welcomed to continue short selling since they believe SC does not have any turnaround prospects. |

Wait4opp thanks for suggestion. If only the mkt is that predictable, most shd follow your earlier suggestion to short sell every day to make $$$$ without any risk or capital. |
