DBS Vickers upgrades RAFFLES EDUCATION to ‘hold’ Chew Hua Seng, CEO, Raffles Education. Photo: InternetDBS Vickers' analyst Andy Sim, CFA, said Raffles Education is unlocking the value of its real estate asset. Raffles' shares have slumped c.30% since May, and the analyst is upgrading the stock to Hold with a revised target price of S$0.52. Raffles is selling a 50% stake in a subsidiary for S$46m. According to the company's announcement, this subsidiary has interest in various education projects in the region. The purchaser is Mr Ding Fu Ru, who is said to be an industrialist and real estate developer in China. The book value of the 50% stake is $22.1m and Raffles will reap S$23.7m net gain. The deal will be completed by 28 Jul and booked in FY12. This counter headed back to 56 cents again. If no support from BBs will test 54cents then 50cents again. Watch out and beware.......... HARD EARNING MONEY....... If can take profit first, a lot of ppls are holding on to this stock trying to off load. Will re-enter if clear 61cents again........ |

hard to say...don't know what BBs and what music/dance steps they do... fast, fast, quick, quick, slow.... OR they are taking a break.... OR waiting to change the music.......play again when you least expected...... |

Many stocks are like doing the " pump and dump" Stocks are now in a " chio jiak say gai " (grab $) ... Economic cycles are no more the same, and probably don't exits anymore...  |

That's the most scary part. The BB's bought at low and sold to small players who follow behind. When these huge bought positions become due next week, you will see what happens. Especially when the BB's come in, but from the reverse angle, and short this counter. Seen this happened many times. History always repeats itself. Problem for us is, we do not not when they will start shorting but good bet is tomorrow or Friday.
