chinkiasu... The only "potential winner" I see is Mr Simon Loh's tips service. If only he can 'institutionalise' his service ie. get it converted to a profit-making venture of some form, he'll almost certainly build a huge following, as this kind of service is in obviously in the greatest demand. |

Victorian was a "little" pessimistic a while ago, hope he is doing well with his other stocks like Food Junctions and Karin which I think had moved a little already now. I have to admit that he is very knowledgeable about Oily stock like SPC and at some point he do strike a point or two. But I am keeping my shares close to my chest, don't be shaken by some pessimistics. |

geojam, Ha ha about afternoon school. My school only had Class A, B, C, D.....if you are in C & D.......good luck to you. But looking back, many of them made it good in life..cos, in those toughie classes, they had a first class and first hand lesson in 'Street Smartness' to survive. |

uncle geojam... hahaha.... What makes u think that i am from ACS??? "independent" or "baker" ??? shplayer... your understanding of warrants trading is spot on. most pple dun want until the expiry to collect the money from the warrant issuer. they will sell before the expiry date. becos, if u will lose the time value of money and the premium the chance that the warrant can go higher. warrants trading is meant to leverage your portfolio and not as a gambling tool. if u like SPC shares & can afford to buy about 12lots. u can buy 10 lots of SPC and use the remaining money to buy warrants. but some greedy, like myself, overuse the leverage and put all my $$$ on the warrants. Overexposed lah.. if u trade warrants properly, i.e. dun be so greedy like me, warrants can be very useful and not so risky. elf.... warren buffet style is very old school. i dun think this portfolio contains Microsoft, Google, biotech co etc. lots of missed opportunites. i dun think my good fren, victorian, can convince mr buffet to buy SMB. wahahaha |

Hi everyone, i believe SPC has made a reversal and should be trending upwards till xd. After that, price should slip but i see it will climb back in a matter of time. I believe oil price has stabilisied and oil price will be hovering around US$61 to $65 a barrel. If more, then SPC will follow north in price too. Just vested at $4.56. Cheersz!! |

elf, Yes, always good to learn...but, unless you can monitor it closely, I would not advice getting involved. As you can see from the example in my earlier post, the warr price can easily more than double with a mere 10+% increase in the mother share price. But, conversely, it can also drop just as fast. Also, there is a time factor and the strick price is so vulnerable to manipulations by the warrant issuers. |
