The market for that is very good,     since most people are attracted to           learning how to make money in stocks.               Thus it is sure to be profitable, much more                           profitable than trading or investing itself.                                 By the way, I respect you highly as a trader,                                       and you qualify as a good coach yourself...

You are right. There are too many so call investing/trading gurus that teach nonsense. When you test their strategy, you'll know that their strategy don't work. I've tested some of these courses strategies before and their results were terrible.

Seriously, folks, how many of us really made money by constant trading ? Maybe, I'm wrong. Only way I made money is buying some, say Gens at 0.30 donkey years ago. But the spririt to be a full time trader is there..Being a part-time trader, punting  the market during work is exciting  for some kopi money. Is there a Wavetrader equivalent out there who offers buying tips BEFORE market opens and tells you the exact price to buy and exit for contra ? Knew one Wavetrader 15 years ago, a Finonachi whizz....wonder what happens to him :)

That is true.   Make no mistake about it.       Stock trading is as easy as it seems.           Many are more successful in making money by                 teaching people how to trade properly.                     Since trading is hardly a good way to become rich,                           it follows that one can achieve a better income by                                 teaching people how to trade properly... |

=.= .... you are one brave soul if you decide this on the whim... first of all dont think trading as a kind of job, some chore that you can expect a return from each effort done. all commendable trader has one thing in common...... commitment. the commitment in trading require  tingle of passion, lot of diligent and  moment of inspiration. for  normal trader, start to work on the cost which mean the cost of transaction, maintenance cost, daily expense , etc. then work on the gain and loss you have make from the past transaction and understand your personal temperament for trading. you should be able to work out your strength and weakness..... there are countless books on personal assessment and i would not list out all of it and just one book The Intelligent Investor by Benjamin Graham...and should be enough to start out with. 2 simple step is sufficient to provide your a base to build up your portfolio.... Trading (stocks or currency) is not a 'joke'.     It is simply a speculative activity.           The objective of speculation is to make money.                   Unlike long-term investors, who are in actuality long-term speculators,                           short-term traders take an intelligent calculated approach,                                       thus controlling the magnitude of their losses.                                             On the other hand, long-term players have no                                                         qualms about losing huge amounts of money                                                                 by holding and averaging down  in a prolonged down market    ...

Stuck in your mundane job ? Thinking of being a full time trader ? Tried this, traded regularly on contra since April this year on blue chips basing on gut feel (kinda DJ up, sti should be up also). Made 3.5k, lost 2k. Sigh...dampens my hope of being one. Is it possible to get sustainable monthly income by being a full time trader.
