i agree . without u, we could not buy at such a good price. CEO liew will be sacked when it hiot $2/- while others going up. It will be half of kepland, and a quarter to F& N. Temasek will sack all its management team. The cash holding +asset already at 3.25++. Think better get special general meeting, vote for liquidation, at least can get 3.25 ...right??? imagine, only lehman can brought CPL to $2/-. unless hard to say another bank going under. Maybe DBS. or Citibank? or Osaman and friends visited the US . Anyway, i will email to CEO liew for his comment on yr post....haha

Lousy company, really shamefull COO & CEO! Capitaland (CAPL)'s French unit, Ascott bought SNC Costes K, owner of Hotel K and adjacent vacant residential property in Paris for total amount of E64.3M. The Co price target was lowered to S$1.85 (" hold" ) from S$2.65 (" outperform" ) at Daiwa.

crisis can only last 3-5 yrs. so expect cisis be over in 2012-2013. Bulls will reagain . Look at the asia crisis, when it hit, prices down for 1.5 yrrs, then goes up , but it goes down again in 2002. But there after it begins the bulls run. Look back again in 1987 recession. It took 3 yrs to recover with another yr in consildation, and bulls started again. Those with economy back ground knows this. WHEN ss over stretched< DD will collaspe and crisis occurred when prices also falls. When ss has been fully absorbed, DD increased, and prices will rise. But there is a period for the balancing- considation period. thats is what happen now. we have been in crisis since 2008. Now is in 3-4th yrs. Another 5 yrs, i can tell u , stock markets in the world  will diminish by then. And to u, no more market to short lao.

this one i agreed. Was told to ignore the prices down. And ask to buy if holding power allows. The situation now are 1) US market is going up. It has to take a month or two, for the funds to flow back to asia. 2) interest rate dilema. SG will not increased interest rate this coming months. If it increase, SGD will rises, and this may affect our exports.Yuan increase will do the trick, 3) Europe PIGS. - i don think EU will allows its members to get into troubles. They will extend their loans period instead giving them fresh loans. This will ease the tension and avoid riotings. so this yr as i mentioned is " consolidation " yr. There will bound to have a yr for considation after a crisis. follows by a start of a bull market, normally last 4-5yrs. This is economy cirle. It goes round and round. Believe it or not. Crisis will not forever, and crisis do not happen twice in a row. In between must has a consolidation and bull.

there is no bad news. Only xd effect. cpl is currently planning to invest more in Europe , which view as risky. But they are buying most properties cheap, as the properties prices had dropped drastically, and low exchange rates. Whatever it is. I am not a lover for cpl. I also owed FN cwt and others. I buy cpl becos, 1) it is cheap. compare to others. I see its value, and huge cash flow. 2) overdraft has not been draw . Together with other units, cash funding is dam huge , that it can buy whole of kepland. 3) they have to go ahead, and take risk. thats make me feel good. If they now steeping brakes, then i worry. Traders are not interested in fundamentals. They just in and out the markets. Say what u wan, i just buy what i think is cheap. And u said u only sht CPL, but yr other forums indicate u sht Goldenagri. noble, sia le. ????

At the moment most if not all the trade going on is Wash Trade No real trade. Shorting and Covering. If you follow which I suppose you did. Most of the trade is done by Broker and followed a few by retail investor who short and cover later. The counter who are trading mostly the same people. The volume of real shares changing hands is very small. The small volume which need to short it down means also the small volume needed to push it up. Anyway, this is one counter a lot of investor just buy with CPF and cash and keep like bank deposit until price hits at least $5.00 to $9.00 in years to come. The available shares in float right now looks less than 15% or about 4.8 million shares only, the rest I presume were held up by investors. If you were to record the shares changing hands day by day, you will notice it.

Investors are investros,  be it    BIG investors or smll investors . So, small investors  (due to limitations in capital),  they need to monitor more often than the  BIG INVESTORS (aka , institutions or fund managers or banks).
