The talk is that Star Cruise will swop stake in Sentosa IR with Genting Int. So that Genting Int owns 100% of Sentosa IR and Star Cruise will take on the Macau development. In this way, the links between Spore and Stanley will be reduced. |

Hi tyh1972 Not likely for any of the developments suggested in your posting to happen - no offence intended. The only likelihood is a clearance by the relevant S'pore authority that it is satisfied with GIL's info that Stanley has got no share in the IR. That FRESH lead should cause SC to fly - just have to be patient - maybe after CNY coz' there is not much time left - work must start on the 2nd IR soon.. |

HI Hulumas Feel that there is something "fishy" in the recent dipping of Starcrus. Fundamentally SC has not changed. What's the reason for the consecutive days of downtrend? SC can't be on the verge of winding up after Stanley's multi million investment in SC and the SC/GIL joint venture in the 2nd IR. (NOTE: Stanley has got NO SHARE in the IR - don't think GIL & SC are that silly to risk the IR tender . Matter shd be resolved very very soon - everyone is just waiting for the fresh lead by way of a press release by the relevant S'pore authority in the media or by SC to play SC up.)Everyone who had bought SC shares on the dip is DOOMED? Everyone who had sold SC shares the MOST intelligent? Logically, not very correct in either instance. Is SC such a lousy share, compared to 5cts penny shares, to merit so many consecutive days of downtrend or for that matter the dip for the past two years (in 2005 & 2006)? Come on operators who have been suppressing SC prices down to continue collecting the scripts - all of you are dancing to the tune of the short sellers for the past few days!! |

any news can make StarsCruise to shoot AGAIN...... 1. Garmen welcome uncle Ho ? 2. StarsCruise give up Macau investment and look for other investment / partner, e.g, temasek, capitaland ? 3. StarsCruise give up Singapore IR investment and concentrate on Macau property investment ? |

well...it seem that u have 60 counter (as u mention b4), est each counter share price est $0.5 and at the rate u shout to buy, i think u would have about 50 lots per counter (maybe more for some), so est $1.5million in stocks. at the rate u do cost average i think u should have some more cash ..... but any way..... with such amt of money i think there is a better way of making money.... and NOT cost average... seem like average down to me.... newbies becareful when ppl shout to buy.... even bank ANAL-syst shout to offload too. By the way I have nothing against this counter...... |

GIL has provided info to Min of Home Affairs (Singapore) re recent investment by Stanley, according to news report in yesterday's "Today". Gosh, share is stabilising now. When matter is settled, hope SC will again cruise along gracefully. | ||||

I bought Hiap Seng when it was as high as 0.54 cent 4 years ago....it was bashed down to 18 cents and rebound backstrongly to the current level. I have waited 4 years before parted with this animal recently. If you have the holding power, you will see some lights soon, it is a question of when and whether you have the holding power.... From what I see, Star Cruise may rebound once that "affair" between Stanley Ho and Goverment is being cleared. For now, don't short or buy until u see the trend. For shortist, it is very difficult to gain with just 1 or 2 cent gain unless u are shorting hundreds of lots. | ||||

It took only 15 trading days for SC to be bashed down from its short-lived peak (very , very few lots done) on 23 Jan 07 to 40cts on 12 Feb. According to certain SJ "pundits" or "experts" it will continue to be bashed down to 0.37cts till CNY. Looks like it will take ages (three, six months or even one year?) for SC to recover to its recent short-lived new peak as many short sellers will attempt to bash it all the way down to "zero" everyday once SC attempts to recover. SC has been sleeping since January 2005. Woke up recently only to bashed dead or down into submission., and may go to sleep again for another one year, pretty soon? |
