Some fact about CGX, then was there one who got UOB Kayhian to re-initiate the coverage some 3 mths ago, has anyone cover  CGX ?. In fact, have anyone gotten their attentions from analysts of Kim Eng, NRA and Asianone apart from Kayhian. This was before load up, load calling.....for a 0.50c dual listing.

As an experienced investor,  oneself should know that it is always chicken and egg, when the counter was thinly traded at cruelly low PE,  will houses wants to cover and  plenty of investors want to buy? or  was it  from tipping point per say for the precious UOB Kayhian coverage.

If  correct, NRA has bought in the stock after Kayhian covered it starting from S$0.22 cents or so.

Its clear, its cloudy, was trying to clear some cloud, so as to see  d big picture--better.
CGX has to run it own course as it fail to move forward several times  on it anticipated trade px.

A fallen knife is not exactly a falling knife with heavy buying volume (and not mentioning d  selling volume--it got to changed hands). STOP! is the recommendation and start to find d bottom (afterall cheap can  get cheaper), then again go long term--if, then if again prices goes down--re-access again.

Its clear (Wrong-footed ?)  , its cloudy. (CGX has to run it own course)

Is a stock at $0.33 cheap if it was trading three weeks ago at $0.47? Many speculators probably think so. No doubt many will be wondering how much they could profit if price just went back to the previous level.
If you feel like jumping in to buy China Gaoxian, STOP! Although the stock is not exactly a falling knife, some caution is required to handle price corrections such as this. Let’s look at the facts.

  1. Price looks like a falling knife because there was a big price drop accompanied by high volume.
  2. However it is still part of an uptrend since it is above the 200-day moving average and we can see no obvious bearish reversal pattern.


The two observations above contradict. What should we do?

From October 2010 to January 2011, the counter went through a steep rally that saw price more than double. In such a situation, a steep correction is probably justified. In technical analysis, there is a rule that says that steep rallies are not sustainable because short term bulls earned a lot of money in a short time and therefore are prone to profit taking. As price comes down, those who bought high add to selling pressure when they cut losses. Lastly, bears who know this rule are naturally emboldened to short sell because they expect correction to take place.

What is important is not to commit too quickly. Afterall cheap can get cheaper. We want to find a place where the selling ends and we can buy a safe rebound.

As long as price finds support at or above the 200-day moving average, long term bulls are likely to agree that the uptrend in price is intact. Wait for price to come to this moving average or any support above that before committing. Long term bulls could also wait for price to make sideways consolidation. Such consolidations can form good bases for subsequent rallies to come. When you buy at a good base, you can probably sleep better at night.

One point to note though: if prices go down past the 200-day moving average non-stop with high volume, a re-evaluation might be necessary.

Re-evaluations invariably come when the trend becomes evident  ie. after it has happened.

            Thus, trends can only be observed to happen,  and can never be predicted by anyone...

                    This is so even if a moving average is above itself, be it 10-day, 100-day, or 200-day, etc...Smiley

 Alert Admin 		Base on this year Feng shui on GX, Gao means Dog and Xian means Salt. Both add up to dog eat salt, so life a bit salty and bitter. And listing in krx means war zone = death. And in year of rabbit, dog is not cute anymore so rabbit is the in thing now. And with CEO name Cao Xiangbin, it means cao cao, a cunning general in the past. And Xiangbin means surrender to solider, and that also means gone case liao. I should study deeper into Feng shui before krx listing!!! Wa Cow

Unfortunately I have to agree with you. Now that the KDR news is confirmed bad, there is no more play for this counter. People with cash would be smarter to park it elsewhere. With no more interest other than from people stuck and trying to get out, there is only one way for the price to go. Management really screwed up bad this time. Will need at least one year for the pain and sorrows to be forgotten...:

Share Likely  to Overhang

Many small  retailers have been lured and got caught  into Gaoxian shares in  tis spectacular huge run up, even till last minute calling for at least 0.50c for continuing calling for load up, load up before anything else, refering to  KOSPI anticipated speculative share price, which is set at 0.405c.

Many who bot at the high of 0.47c, would be awaiting anxiously for  their chances to get out of the this burnt pot, history has it now, can takes a long time b4 CGX share price can recover to its previous high as no  BBs boys would be senseless or foolish enuff to come along to undertak losing position  for retailers who bot at an ever increasingly higher and at riskingly price.

Thus, would be sellers dying to come out of their losing position at every turn, sell into strength or cut it  lost.
