Look like this Bayan Tree IPO business is going down to another low level offer, if not, the rite way is to cancelled this IPO liao. That my take if it go ahead it is going even lower then the low offer px. IF any one wish to subscribe to the 5% for public, can buy at a cheaper px. cheap can become even cheaper liao. |

IPOs nowadays are not guaranteed to make money. unlike the good old days where if you were successful getting IPO, you'll make $$ more often than not. |

just wondering went they R going to sell cheaper or not during their book making, (Thai Brew went from 0.36 to 0.28cts and closed of at $0.27cts), certainly a 5stars, 1st class IPO package. but not a 5stars contention. I hv 2nd tot when my $$$ is to pay off their dept and even more so to Natsteel, i think it's better to ask Natsteel to buy up after all Natsteel is to gain more, why letting public oni 5% of it IPO and poor ppl lose their $$$. |

Thai Brew at $0.28 very cha lat memm.. down 1cent (3.57%) like that, i think Banyan Tree with it expensive IPO may go below a dollar liao. |

With today mkt like that, very cha lat liao, not oni expensive, even $0.87cts must consider, maybe can buy from open mkt cheaper memm.. |

Likely they need $$$ urgently, can't wait any longer liao, they choose to get more $$$ from d public, ppl like U, me and d rest, just a small float, the rest 95% goes to institution (big funds mgr), is like getting $$$ to off load their dept, the rest for their expansion plan and some $$$ goes into Nat Steel money bag, so money make money from who?, those big boys yah... |

It had earlier wanted to raise about US$200m ($317.4m), but had to scrap the listing after the Dec 26, 2004 tsunami. Now it's looking to raise only $104m, about one-third its original plan. |

ST paper reported abit of good news on it IPO, sounded like it's sell on it high side co's of d word maxmium price of $1.07/- seem an indication it want to sell some shares to Mr Oei of Nat Steel (which hv a big interest in Banyan Tree IPO) and other big oversea investors. |
