the good news announce yesterday.. this morning the selling  started and it started to drop but recover and even close at high. unless there are other good news impending announcement? last trade even gap up to close 2 cents higher  at 1.76 after close trading. or it purely technical rebound? anyway it is relief to many still holdining to this counter seeing green instead red for so many days liao....once vested and bitten... waiting for good entry price...

YANLORD RECORDS NEW HIGH IN AVERAGE SELLING PRICES FOR APARTMENT LAUNCHES IN SHANGHAI AND TIANJIN

In respect of Tianjin Yanlord Riverside Plaza Phase 1, 180 units with a gross floor area ("GFA") of approximately 24,519.45 square metres ("sqm") were made available for sale at the 16 January 2010 launch. Opening to strong support from home buyers, 124 of the new units have been sold as at 27 January 2010 with an average selling price ("ASP") of approximately RMB23,241 per square metre ("sqm") achieved for the 16,849 sqm gross floor area ("GFA") sold. This latest ASP represents a 27.4% increase over the RMB18,248 per sqm achieved in the preceding batch launch of apartment units in Tianjin Yanlord Riverside Plaza Phase 1 in October 2009. Total contracted pre-sales achieved to-date from this latest launch of apartment units in Tianjin Yanlord Riverside Plaza Phase 1 was approximately RMB390 million.

Ideally situated along the picturesque Haihe riverside which has historically been the cradle of Tianjin city’s cultural and economic development, the 520,000 sqm GFA Yanlord Riverside Plaza is the Group’s landmark development within the Bohai Economic Region and has been earmarked as a key integrated residential, commercial and recreational development for the citizens of Tianjin. Reflecting the strong market support, 65 units with a GFA of 8,484 sqm and an ASP of RMB53,033 per sqm have been sold as at 27 January 2010. Reflecting the continued market confidence in Yanlord’s high-end residential development, ASP at this latest launch recognized a 32.2% increase over the ASP of RMB40,125 per sqm achieved in the preceding launch of apartment units at Shanghai Yanlord Riverside City Phase 3 in November 2009. Total contracted pre-sales achieved to-date from this latest launch of apartment units was approximately RMB450 million.

Shanghai Yanlord Riverside City is one of the Group’s leading and most supported developments in Shanghai. Based on statistics jointly released by the China Real Estate Information Corporation, Shanghai E-House Real Estate Research Institute and China Real Estate Appraisal detailing the "Top Real Estate Development Sales Listings of 2009 in 10 Major Cities", Shanghai Yanlord Riverside City topped the Shanghai single project sales chart for the third consecutive year with 2009 annual sales of RMB5.29 billion.
