hi everyone, i'm really new here but have been following this thread. Have read up a bit on the company. For the chart wise, i'm a total newbie. But after reading ''bintang'' post, I really don't understand, coz he said if price on friday close low, it's a confirm downtrend. But the price close high and still he said there is still possibility of downtrend. Hmmm, it seems like either way also downtrend ? please do pardon my ignorance, but it seems like all other stocks have also been going down a lot past few days. But despite the market so down, utdenv still managed to 'hold on' and closed high on friday. Doesn't that spell something? thank you ;)

Maybe OHL has decided to become a major shareholder now that he is "happy with the Citi trading loss settlement" - just my own thoughts. Also, though market sentiments may not be great right now, those of us who bought into Uni Envtech, would hopefully have done so based on the company's fundamentals - business and management strengths and its futures outlook. If we hold this thought, then markets up and markets down is part and parcel of the stock market. |

If this is a flag formation , it may take two to three weeks to complete the formation n breakout with large volume , if the correction takes more than three weeks n breaks down the so called flag formation , then the downtrend would accelerate , n the downside target at 37 cents would achieve . Now the share price is going into the second week of trading .

not sure how to paste the graph.. but if u draw a flag from 28 Sep all the way..u see a bullish flag pattern forming.. This bullish flag patterns shows that it is taking a breather after running up in a str8 line.. Also, this bullish flag is forming on decreasing vol. Watch out for the breakout on the upside (continuation) on very high vol. DYODD |

UniEnvtech although closed positively on Friday , its downtrend would not changed . This counter started to move up from only 7 cents in Mar09 to 54.5 cents last week , it is about 750% advancing ,if the pull back is at 23% which is 43 cents , if the pull back is 38 % , that would be 37 cents . And now the downward channel is formed , if the supporting at 44 cents at the lower trendline of this channel could not provide the supporting force , then very soon , the share price would test the downside target at 37 cents . | ||||

BUSINESSMAN Oei Hong Leong and Citigroup have reached an out-of-court settlement over claims that he was misled by the bank into losing some $1 billion from foreign exchange and United States Treasury bond transactions. In a brief statement on Thursday, the bank said: 'Citi and Mr Oei Hong Leong have reached an amicable settlement, as a result of which Mr Oei will be discontinuing the action. The terms of the settlement are confidential.' Mr Oei could not be contacted but his legal representative, Mr Quek Mong Hua of Lee & Lee, confirmed the settlement and said a discontinuance of the suit will be filed today. 'It is a good ending,' he said. In May, Mr Oei sued Citigroup's private banking arm in the High Court for negligence and misrepresentation, claiming that the bank - with which he has a 30-year relationship - repeatedly gave him an inaccurate picture of his trading exposure. This caused him to accumulate larger outstanding positions than he would have otherwise done so, he said. When he knew the full extent of his exposure, he felt he had no choice but to close his positions despite the adverse market environment in October last year. This resulted in massive losses. Citigroup, in its defence, denied any wrongdoing, claiming that Mr Oei was a 'highly sophisticated' investor who was responsible for making all his investment decisions. The bank also disputed the quantum of the losses as they did not take into account premiums that he had earlier received. These claims and counter-claims were contained in legal documents submitted to the High Court but the case itself has not yet been heard in court. |

Personally I feel pretty good about Unt Envirotech. I see the fact that it bought, at 0.l8 cents, into Asia Water Technology in a different light. Mr Lim would not have agreed to subscribe into the company's shares unless he is confident of the company's future. For all we know, he and his board of directors may be thinking of some consolidation pre-award of the Guandong contract. |
